摘要 随着我国经济的迅速发展以及英语作为国际语言地位的提高，英语教学收到越来 越多的关注。在传统的外语教学中，教师在课堂上决定一切，学生被看作知识的接收 器，师生间缺乏合作。学生们没有机会把所学的知识应用到实际教学中去。近年来， 中国越来越关注英语教学中的教育改革。八十年代初期以来，一种创新性的教学模式 一交际教学法作为一种有效的值得推荐的教学方法在中国的英语教学中被采用。交际 教学法把英语的交际能力作为英语学习的最终目的，提倡通过交际来学习外语，强调 培养学生的英语交际能力。 本文追溯了交际法在英国和美国产生的历史背景以及在中国的发展情况。通过对 上海师范大学天华学院共二十名教师和七十名艺术系的学生发放问卷调查和课堂观 察，研究三个问题：1 ) 英语交际法教学在我国实施十多年来，大学教师在多大程度 上将交际法教学理论运用到了课堂教学实际中去? 2 ) 影响交际法在大学英语教学中 4 有效实施的因素有哪些? 3 ) 针对那些影响因素，有何对策7 从问卷调查和课堂观察的数据可以得知，交际教学法在大学英语教学中没有得到 很好的运用，并且发现有五个因素制约了交际法在大学英语教学中的应用，包括：大 班授课；学生没有参与课堂讨论和提高交际能力的动力；教师的教学信念；测试的反 拨作用等。根据以上的影响因素，作者提出了要激发学生学习的兴趣，改变教师为中
