翻译不仅是语言层面的转换，更是两种文化和思维角度的转换。汉英两民族不仅 语言有异，而且文化背景、传统习惯、思维方式也各不相同，因而导致各自的词语中 负载着特定的文化气息。对于同一客观事物或思想，汉英民族思维方式的差异在各自 的语言上从不同的方面反映出来，对翻译过程中的语义理解、传达都有着一定的影响 和干扰。这也就导致了汉英两种语言的表达形式也存在差异。即使译者对原文理解 正确，译文仍会不可避免的发生信息流失或偏离现象。如何处理翻译过程中的文化 差异? 源语和目的语之间是否存在绝对的等值? 使用哪种翻译方法能尽量减少由于英 美文化差异所引起的翻译过程中的信息流失? 本文就这些问题进行了初步的探索。 视角转换就是在翻译中获得目的语与源语信息对等的必不可少的应变对策，以形式 的偏离换取信息的一致。目前，国内翻译理论界从视角角度探讨翻译的论述还比较 少，并且在翻译实践中由于视角转换所引发的误译屡见不鲜。可以说，视角转换的 理论研究还处于初级阶段，还有很多问题需要去研究和探索。因此，研究汉英翻译 中的视角转换具有必要性和必然性。 在文章结构方面，本文分为六章。其中，第一章是引言，对整篇进行概括， 同时还介绍了本文的研究动机和意义，以及研究视野范围和使用范围。在第二章， 文献回顾部分，本文分别介绍了外国学者和国内学者在该领域的成果及其对本文 研究的启发，一并介绍的还有先前研究的不足，而这正是本文研究的目的所在。视 角转换和翻译放在了第三章，首先介绍了视角转换的定义，然后分析视角转在翻译 中的必要性，最后总结出视角转换的研究在外语学习和翻译中起着举足轻重的作用 这一结论。第四章详细探讨了视角转换的集中具体表现，以及在语言中的具体应用， 主要表现在：主动与被动；肯定与否定；静态与动态；形象与抽象；顺序与倒序； 重复与省略；形合与意合；主观与客观；物称与人称。第五章通过分析视角转换在 爱玛两个中译本中的应用进一步说明视角转换在英汉翻译中的作用与重要性。 最后，在第六章中，作者对全文予以归纳、概括，并指出由于两种语言之间存 在着文化差异，译文与原文之间没有完全绝对的对等，只能是相对的等值。 关键词：视角转换英汉互译爱玛 a b s t r a c t 1 r a n s l a t i o n a so n
