山东大学硕十学位论文 摘要 自从f l a v e l l 在1 9 7 6 年提出元认知概念以来，越来越多的研究开始探讨元认知与 不同语言学习任务之间的关系。阅读作为获取知识最重要的手段之一，阅读活动和阅 读策略一直是国内外无数研究项目的焦点议题。鉴于元认知在语言学习中所起的重要 作用，如何把两者相互结合成为阅读领域的研究趋势。尽管国际上对于英语作为第二 语言的阅读领域研究林林总总，但对中国英语阅读者的研究却相对甚少。在国内，综 合元认知与英语阅读理解方面的研究在很大程度上仍然处于起步状态，大片的空白等 待我们去探索和填补。 因此，当前的研究便是为了探讨中国大学生在阅读英语学术类材料时所运用的元 认知阅读策略。为了揭示元认知阅读策略的使用和阅读水平的关系，本研究提出了以 下四个方面的问题：学生使用元认知阅读策略的类型和频率，高低水平阅读者在选择 和使用这些策略的不同，性别和专业对学生策略使用的影响，以及元认知阅读策略与 阅读水平之间的关联性。来自山东大学物理系和历史系的共9 2 个学生参加了此项调 查。问卷采用的是m o k h t a r i & s h e o r e y ( 2 0 0 2 ) 设计的s o r s 阅读策略问卷，意在衡量 学生在阅读时的元认知意识和所使用的阅读策略。学生的阅读水平则是由c e t 4 中的 阅读成绩来衡量。所有的数据输入s p s s1 3 0 并进行描述性、对比性以及关联性数据 分析。 研究结果表明，中国大学生在总体阅读策略使用上处于中等水平。在s o r s 问卷 中的三大策略类型中，学生最喜欢使用的是问题解决性策略，其次是全球性策略和支 持性策略。高低水平的阅读者在使用全球性策略、问题解决性策略以及整体阅读策略 时都存在明显差异。女生比男生更多的使用支持性阅读策略，不同专业对学生的策略 使用也产生一定影响，但不如其他因素般显著。相关性分析表明，阅读策略与阅读水 平有显著正面关联性，其中问题解决性策略具有一定的直接预测力。基于以上发现， 文章对其潜在的原因和启示也进行了进一步讨论。鉴于元认知阅读策略的重要性，我 们应当在阅读教学中融入相关的策略培训。 关键词：元认知策略；英语阅读；性别：专业；阅读水平
