摘要 当今人们对语言的研究不仅仅局限在对语言差异的分析研究，更 多的是对语言的共性研究，这已成为当今语言学研究的趋势。因为无 视共性根本也就谈不到什么个性，个性只有在共性的背景下才看的出 来。语言共性可以从不同的层次和不同的角度进行研究，格林伯格在 1 9 6 6 年提出了蕴涵共性的概念之后，以语序的线性结构作为共性， 区分出了s v o ，s o v ，v s o 等基本句型，创立了语序类型学。而后来 对语序共性的研究也从单纯的描写转向了探询其产生的深层原因。霍 金斯从功能类型的角度来分析语言共性产生的外部动因，提出了直接 成分尽早确立原则。直接成分尽早确立原则是从心理语言学角度探询 语言处理的复杂性，进而说明共性产生的机制。他的语言处理是指人 脑对语言的加工处理，即语言文字使用者在实际语言应用中对语言 的理解和生成，集中于从理解的角度对句法的处理原则和机制。本文 将采用霍金斯的直接成分尽早确立原则对英汉语序作对比分析。 此外本文试图将语言共性的研究与二语习得结合起来，将针对在 校大学生的英语写作难的现象，对在校大学生做了写作困难的调查， 并总结分析了其中的普遍现象，即关系从句，再对关系从句进行分类 做进一步的调查，收集数据进行分析研究，并利用语言共性的研究结 果，从语言处理机制的角度分析困难产生的原因，同时也提出了大学 生在处理复杂句法时所采用的一些策略，而这些策略的使用也为霍金 斯的预测提供了支持：当遇剑复杂句法需要处理时，趋向采用低的比 例，即直接成分与识别域所包含的词的数量的比例，这试图为英语写 作教学提供一些有价值的参考。 关键词：蕴涵共性，语序共性，直接成分尽早确立原则，关系从句 a b s t r a c t c u r r e n tr
