摘要 隐喻和颜色词这两个领域无论在国内或是国外均是热门话题，对这两个领域的早期 研究均可追溯到古希腊时期。在中国，对这些领域在古代业已有了相关论述。莱考夫及 约翰逊合著的我们赖以生存的隐喻一书开创了现代意义的认知隐喻学研究，自此， 无数的学者致力于隐喻的认知语言学理解，并出版了大量的著作，成果甚丰。在颜色词 的探索方面，对其的语言学研究开始于柏林和凯，他们所提出的基本颜色调理论系统地 总结了人类语言中基本颜色词的发展规律。长期以来，对隐喻和颜色词的研究均是独立 进行的，但是越来越多的学者发现二者是可以结合的，并且对二者相结合的情况的研究 可以同时加深对相关领域的理解。然而，受基本颜色词理论的影响，这些研究者仅仅将 目光集中于基本颜色词隐喻，隐喻在非基本颜色词形成中的作用及非基本颜色隐喻至今 尚无人涉及，这方面的汉英对比研究更是少之又少。 本文旨在揭示汉英在非基本颜色词中的隐喻方面的异同，因此对隐喻及非基本颜色 词的研究贯穿始终。在相关理论指引下，主要处理两方面的问题。首先，对在非基本颜 色词形成中意义重大的隐喻进行了系统的研究，特别是对这一系列隐喻的喻体进行了分 析。然后主要讨论了非基本颜色隐喻的特点。为完成这一系列工作，采取了三种研究手 段即问卷调查，字典词统计和语料库分析。研究发现，隐喻在汉英非基本颜色词的形成 中发挥着巨大的作用。通过对这些隐喻的喻体的分类研究发现，在诸如植物域、动物域、 人体域等方面，汉英语存在着许多共同之处，相似的生理结构和共通的自然环境是促成 这一现象的主要原因。在其他喻体方面，如人类交际域和化工域等方面，汉英两组数据 表现出了明显的不同之处，这源于两种语言自身的差异和两种文化的不同。在所收集的 非基本颜色隐喻方面，英语所包含的非基本颜色隐喻词多于汉语，但进一步的分析显示， 如果考虑日常应用及固定非基本颜色隐喻，两组数据十分接近，其中文化因素起到了至 关重要的作用。最后，本文对汉英非基本颜色隐喻的三个主要语义特征进行了分析。 作者希望通过上述研究系统地总结汉英非基本颜色词中的隐喻方面的特点，尤其是 在形成非基本颜色词的隐喻及非基本颜色隐喻方面的独特魅力，对看似零乱的非基本颜 色词的研究有着重大的现实意义。这不仅有利于加深持母语者对本民族语言的认识，更
