摘要 近年来，在应用语言学领域，大量对不同学科和体裁的对比研究证明，语篇特征与 学科的文化和认识论有关，既定学科社团的知识构建行为体现在文本中。学科文化已被 表明是决定立场和评价构建方式的主要因素。研究论文( r e s e a r c ha r t i c l e s ) 已经引 起了许多领域的注意。体裁分析法因其有助于对某一体裁的结构和语言特征的理解，已 被广泛应用于研究论文的研究中，此法对研究论文的分析主要包括两组：一组是对语篇 结构的分析，即对研究论文整体结构的研究或对其引言一方法一结果一讨论部分中的任一 部分的研究；另一组着重于对个别语言特征的研究，常见的有对模糊词，情态的研究等。 但是，文献检索中缺少对语言学中英文研究论文讨论部分用预想标签和回溯标签表达立 场的研究，以及医学和语言学的研究论文讨论部分中，对预想标签和回溯标签内信息的 评价情况的研究。 本研究使用语料库方法和体裁分析法相结合的方法，详细比较分析了英文医学研究 论文和英文语言学研究论文讨论部分中预想标签n o u nt h a t 模式和回溯标签t h i s t h e s e n o u n 模式的用法，初步探讨了这两个模式在该部分的立场表达方面的特点，找出并分析 了这两个学科英文研究论文讨论部分在标签内和标签后两个层面上的立场表达的相同 和差异，并做出了解释。 通过研究发现两个语料库中使用这些模式表达立场的共同点是：( 1 ) 回溯标签比预 想标签更多，其中表达认知立场的标签很频繁，而表达态度立场的标签较少。( 2 ) 与讨 论部分的各个语步相应标签后的文本信息主要用于：强调研究结果，陈述某一项具体的 结果，解释结果，表明结果的意义，把现在的结果和其他结果作对比，表明结果的局限 性，表明该研究的意义及推荐进一步的研究。( 3 ) 在标签中，许多名词出现频数相对较 低，其中一些仅出现一或两次。( 4 ) 在回溯标签中，对易预测的中心名词，标签内所含 的信息是已知的，对不易预测的中心名词，标签内所含的信息是新的。( 5 ) 在含标签的 句子中，即，在即时语境中标签内所蕴含的信息多具有积极评价的功能，其中评价的相 关性功能和价值功能出现很频繁，这一结果表明在研究论文讨论部分中评价较含蓄；否 定评价较少，而在更广泛的语境中，这些否定评价多有助于研究论文的交际目的，即， 说服读者接受自己的观点。这段文本所含的是新信息，尤其回溯标签在强调了它所包含 信息的基础上将话题推进。( 6 ) 许多标签用作句子或从句的主语，作为一种非个人结构， 它们可被看作是一种否定礼貌策略。( 7 ) 在模式n o u nt h a t 中，两个语料库最大的相同处 是名词a c t ( 单数形式) 名词来表示认知状态和过程，来指明语言行为及其结果和来表明交际状态。这一差别反 映了这两个不同学科的知识构建的不同特点。 本文最后探讨了此研究对中国英语教学的意义。教师应该提高科技语篇中学习者的 模式意识，如n o u nt h a t ，t h i sn o u n ，n o u no f ，t h en o u n 等，并培养他们使用模式的 中心名词的能力。这些模式中的抽象名词被h a u i d a y ( 1 9 9 3 ) 当作教育系统中的主要语域， 而由于许多儿童教育中这些名词的不可及性，m a r t i n ，w i g g i n s ，a n dr o t h e r y ( 1 9 8 8 ) 甚至 i v 夸张地将这一语域称为神秘的英语。这些名词的广泛的幅度和不同模式中不同词项的不 同频率，为教育学相关的分级教学提供了一个尺度。本篇论文里的这套语法陈述为语篇
