摘要 莎士比业的四人悲剧之一麦可白中所描绘的麦可白是一个性格特征 复杂的立体性人物。在其由善至恶的转变过程中，其人性的双重性善与 恶在莎士比亚笔下辩证地体现出来。导致麦可白走向毁灭的内因是其抱负( 野 心) 和权欲，而外因则不仅是女巫的蛊惑和麦可白夫人的引诱，也是封建世 袭制度、社会动荡以及邓肯王的愚蠢无能。在内外因的相互作用下，麦可白 在做出谋杀的决策前，经历了激烈的思想斗争及内心冲突，最终，选择了恶， 放弃了善，从而由一个受人尊敬的民族英雄转变为弑君谋位、滥杀无辜的凶 手，踏上了自我毁灭的不归路。在麦可白| 堕落的过程中，其暴力成了双刃剑， 既伤他人又伤自己。麦可白的善与恶之间这种两极性辩证关系和摆动体现了 莎士比亚人物的真实性与人物所具有的普遍意义。由于时代的局限性，麦可 自在缺乏公平竞争的封建等级制度下，正常的个人需要得不到尊重，个人的 正常发展得不到保障，其人性也因此而扭曲变态。因此作者在表达惩恶扬善 的人文主义思想的同时，也表达了对麦可白的同情不仅因其善的一面， 也因其牛不逢时的一面。在此特定条件下中性词“a m b i t i o n 因外因的影响就有 了褒贬之分：抱负和野心。要客观地评价麦可白，除了强调决定性内因 “a m b i t i o n ”外，也不能忽视外因的作用：社会环境及其制度的影响，因为当提 供了适当的成跃和自我实现的环境和机会时，人的本性是善良的，至少是中 性的。恶则是环境造成的。根据马斯洛人的需要理论及弥尔顿和林肯以人为 本的宝贵思想，并用老子和毛泽东的辩证观点评价麦可白，这样有助于进一 步解读为何麦口，白既是罪人x 是无辜的人，如动态地置其于一个平等、民主 的社会，他有权实现自己的抱负而无须付诸暴力。因此，本文的历史和现实 意义在于：构建以人为本的、健康和谐的社会，其目的为导人为善而非导人 为恶，以避免类似的暴力恶性循环和悲剧的发生；其前提为人的需要和发展 应该得到重视，人的权力应该得到尊重和保障，以开创个人与社会和谐发展 的双赢局面。 关键词：悲剧抱负罪人受害者内外因需要 a b s t r a c t s h a k e s p e a r e
