摘要 本文以小说对话翻译为研究对象，从语用角度分析了af a r e w e l lt o a r m s 两个中译本 的对话翻译。这两个中译本分别是由林疑今和汤永宽翻译的。 对话是小说中必不可少的部分，起到刻画人物形象和推动故事情节的作用，而且彳 f a r e w e l lt o a r m s 中的人物对话约占整部小说四分之三的篇幅，但是人们对小说对话翻译 的重视程度与其地位极不相称。小说对话是对人们日常会话的模仿，虽然经过作者的精 心编排，仍然受到语用原则的制约。本文从语用角度探讨小说对话翻译，提出了小说对 话翻译的语用学方法，即运用语用学相关知识透彻理解源语对话的意义，抓住其言外 之意，根据语用对等原则，利用具体的翻译策略，在目的语对话中尽可能地将其完美再 现。 在小说对话翻译语用学方法的指导下，本文从af a r e w e l lt o a
