摘要 本文主要论述了文化全球化语境中异化翻译策略对保持文化多样性 的优越性。不管在何种理论指导下进行翻译，译者都要选择一定的翻译策 略。2 0 世纪7 0 年代翻译界出现文化转向，归化异化翻译策略成为讨论的 主题。由于归化异化策略对文化的不同处理，同一原作会出现大相径庭的 译本，而译本对于原语文化和译入语文化所产生的影响也会差别很大。 当今世界，随着经济全球化逐渐升温，文化全球化也日益明显。然而， 文化属于一种“软权利”，受经济政治力量的影响和制约，有“强势文化 和“弱势文化 之分。在文化全球化的过程中，少数西方发达国家特别是 美国，奉行文化霸权政策以图保持其优势地位。全球文化在强势文化对弱 势文化的压制和逐步取代的不平衡格局中发展，因此翻译必须起到抵御文 化霸权，保护文化身份的作用；翻译既要传递原文的意义，又要传递原文 的文化信息，这样各国文化才能取得平等交流与发展的机会；随着各国之 间文化交流的发展，当今读者无论从心理上还是能力上对异质文化的接受 能力大大提高，他们在阅读时也期待异域文化；可见进行异化翻译是必要 的，也是可行的；另外，异化翻译极大地丰富了目的语语言及其文化。因 此，在文化全球化的语境中，翻译应该本着“和而不同”的原则进行。“和 的主要精神就是要协调“不同”，达到新的和谐统一，使各个不同事物都能 得到新的发展，形成不同的新事物。这种追求新的和谐发展的精神，为多 元文化共处提供了不尽的思想源泉。翻译要尊重差别；无论强势文化还是 弱势文化都要充分体现出各自的真实面目和独具特色；保护世界文化的多 样性；达到文化之间的和谐发展。 提倡异化翻译并非完全排斥归化翻译。异化翻译也必须考虑目的语语 言和文化的可接受性，不能伤害到目的语语言和文化，因为不同的语言和 文化终究有着本质的差别。但是，随着文化全球化进程日益深入，各国的
