摘要 四字语是指汉语词汇系统中由四个字构成的词汇单位。四字语四字连用，节 奏匀称，言简意赅，把丰富的内容，复杂的概念，鲜明的形象浓缩在精炼生动的 词语中。它是语言和文化的精华，具有鲜明的民族特色。四字语有着自身和内在 的词汇结构，语义特征和句法和语用功能。然而至今，对于四字语的认知机制和 翻译的研究仍处于初级探索阶段。虽然众多研究者对于四字语从不同角度进行研 究对于四字语的结构，起源和意义特征等方面进行了详细的描述，然而对于四字 语的形成内部机制尚未进行研究。本文将以l a k o f f 和j o h n s o n 关于比喻和转喻 的理论，分析比喻，转喻对四字语的形成和理解上的重要作用，解析四字语的认 知机制。 汉语四字语翻译的研究在国内同样处于起步阶段。四字语的有相当一部分是 成语。对于汉语成语的翻译，我国翻译界对此进行过研究，多从直泽，意译，或 从成语中喻体的翻译手段来谈。作者运用关联理论来从宏观和微观两个方面来分 析汉语四字语的可译度。从宏观来上就原文认知环境与译文认知环境的差异提出 文化不可译产生的原因；从微观的角度论述论述了汉语四字语的意义、风格和文 化方面的可译度。最后从关联理论的角度提出汉语四字语翻译的原则，指导译者 在翻译汉语四字语时，译出具有最佳关联的译本。 蓍锺毒莸汉语四字语；隐喻；关联理论；可译性；原则 a b s t r a c t t h ec h i n e s el a n g u a g ea b o u n d si nf o u r -
