摘要 自从l a z a d e h 提出“模糊集”这一理论以来，模糊这一源自数学领域的 概念就被应用到了语言学的研究中。模糊是语言的一个本质属性，如果语言缺乏 模糊，其交际范围就会受到很大的局限。国内外的许多研究人员刑语言的模糊性 及其相关的分支学科进行了深入的探索和研究。然而，迄今为l e ，对于适当运用 模糊修辞以获得特定的交际功能这一方面很少有深入综合性的研究。作者认为基 于合作原则和礼貌原则对模糊修辞的语用功能进行研究是一项很有意义的工作。 因此，本文在前人研究的基础上，运用这两个语用原则从语用学的角度集中探讨 了模糊修辞的各种手段的应用。 本文首先简要介绍了对于模糊的研究，第一章详细阐述了对于模糊的定义及 其产生的原因的一些历史性见解，并且区别了模糊，含糊，笼统，歧义这四个基 本的语言学概念，从而得出了模糊修辞的可行性定义。第二章着重从语义和句法 的角度阐述了模糊修辞的八种构成方式。模糊修辞因为其在语义上的不确定性， 经常可以从语用的角度得以解释来获得特定的效果。第三章运用合作原则和礼貌 原则分析了在交际中运用模糊修辞来实现不同的语用功能。从这一语用角度的研 究，作者得出了以下的结论：说话人运用模糊修辞遵循或违背合作原则和礼貌原 则的各个准则来实现不同的语用功能。本文结论部分综述了本文所进行的研究，
