摘要中介语研究在第二语言习得研究中占有重要的位置，中介语研究的理论意义和实践意义是显而易见的。第二语言习得的基本过程和特征很多是通过对学习者的中介语的发展研究得到的。本文是一次尝试性的研究，旨在研究中国学生的英语中介语从低阶段到高阶段是如何变化的。在中国，英语学习主要分为三个阶段，即初中，高中和大学。本文通过错误分析方法，对处于三个不同英语水平阶段的学习者的6 0 篇英语作文，从语法方面进行中介语错误分类和统计，通过对比来探索中介语中常见的语法错误在低( 初三) 、中( 高三) 、高( 大学二年级) 这三个阶段上，哪些错误比较突出，是怎样变化的? 并通分析和对比每一阶段的语篇中的句长、复杂句和连接词出现的频率，来看中介语语篇复杂性在每一阶段都是怎么变化的?通过数据分析，本文得出以下结论：第一，整体来看，中介语的变化从英语低水平阶段到高水平阶段并非是直线发展的。出现在低英语水平阶段的错误仍然会出现在其他两个阶段，并不会因为英语的水平的提高而直接消失。而这种变化主要是由母语与目的语的干扰程度所决定的。第二，从局部来看，词汇错误，时态错误，一致错误和非谓语动词错误这四类错误在各个阶段的出现频率较高。但由于母语与目的语干扰的程度的不同，这四类错误在各个阶段都有不同的特征。随着英语水平的提高，由目的语引起的词汇错误的比例逐渐增加，这一现象在选词错误中尤为突出。时态错误主要是由母语迁移所引起，主要表现在省略表示时间的词尾“- i n g ，一e d 。而非谓语动词在低英语水平阶段的错误特征是在“l o o k ，w i s h ，b e g i n 一等词后的动词省略了形成非谓语动词的标志“t o 一i n g ，而在中级阶段和高级阶段则转变成了动名词和分词做定语，补语等的错误。第三，通过对比每一阶段的句长，复杂句和连接词的使用频率，得出中介语语篇的复杂性经历了由简单到复杂的过程。最后本文总结了中介语可变性对英语教学的指导意义。关键词：错误分析，中介语连续体，中介语可变性a b s t r a c ti n t e r l a n g u a g e ( i l ) s t u d yi sa l li m p o r t a n tb r a n c hi ns l ae n q u i r y i tp f o v i d e si m p o r t a n ti n f o r m a t i o na b o u tt h ep r o c e s so fl a n g u a g el e a r n i n ga n de n r i c h e so u ru n d e r s t a n d i n go ft h en a t u r eo fs l a t h ei lr e s e a r c h e ss h e dm u c hi n s i g h to nt h el a n g u a g ep e d a 鲫t e a c h e r sc a nb e t t e ra d j u s tt h d rt e a c h i n gb yac l e a rp i c t u r eo ft h es t u d e n t s i ld e v e l o p m e n t t h i st h e s i si sat e n t a t i v es t u d yw h i c hm a i n l yf o c u s e so nh o wi lc h a n g e sf r o mt h el o we n g l i s hp r o f i c i e n c yl e v e lt oah i g h e ro n e i nc h i n a , e n g l i s hl e a r n i n gf o rn o n -
