摘要 一九九九年九月国家教育部颁布了新的大学英语教学大纲( 高等学校文理 科，本科用) ，在其修订说明中明确指出要培养学生具有以书面或口头方式进行 交际的能力，并将听、说、写、译列为同一层次。除大纲的要求外，大学英语四 级考试( c e t - 4 ) 也对学生提出了额的要求，即作文设定了最低分值，必须达到6 分( 满分1 5 分) 。而在过去十年间，四级作文平均成绩总是低于6 分( 贾爱武， 1 9 9 8 ) 的事实，则要求大学教师有必要在写作教学方面作更深层次的探索。 自上世纪七十年代以来，过程教学法比传统的结果教学法在写作效果方面己 显示出明显的优势。但鉴于前者是在英语作为母语基础上发展起来的方法，在英 语作为外语的写作教学中则受到教学环境和适用范围的限制，尤其是对于非英语 专业的大学生，过分强调交际能力的培养势必导致语言运用准确度的降低。本文 尝试将折中的任务教学法应用于大学写作教学，从理论和实践两方面探讨对大学 生写作结果的影响。 在文献综述部分，笔者对比了课堂常用的不同写作教学方法，随后提出自己 研究的框架。本实验研究包含一个学年的课堂教学，通过对两个运用不同授课方 式班级的对比实验，探究任务教学法的有效性及对写作教学实践的启示。在实验 过程中，对实验对象所写文章的评分、对写作教师及学生的问卷调查组成了此次 研究的主要数据资料。研究结果表明，任务教学法能有效地提高学生的写作水平 ，同时对学生语言综合运用能力的提高也有一定的帮助，英语教师应当有效地在 课堂教学中运用。 正文由五部分组成，引言部分概述研究的背景、原因及文章的主要构成。第 一章是文献综述部分，对比分析了结果教学法、过程教学法及其他教学法在中国 英语写作教学中的优劣势，概述作为折中的任务教学法。第二章详细描述任务教
