Today Im going to talk about Unit 1,You are good at drawing,Peter, which is from XiangShao Primary English, Book 6. In this class,I will teach the children through dialogue、draw pictures and some activities . Encouraging students to participate actively, stimulating the students enthusiasm for learning English and improving the students comprehensive ability of using language.Today,Ill talk about my lesson from six parts.Part 1. Teaching reflection（教学反思）Part 1.Teaching contents This lesson includes five parts:Lets listen and say,Lets learn,Lets practice ,Lets look and write and Lethave fun.Then according to the new standard curriculum and syllabus(新课程标准和教学大纲), I think the teaching aims of this lesson are the following:1.Aims on the knowledge(1) To make Ss read these key words: diving, picture, skating, good idea, watching films.(2) To enable Ss to be familiar with the sentence pattern: I like doing sth. Im good at(3)To enable Ss understand and speak: “What do you good at?” and the answers. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.(3) To help Ss to finish the exercise. 2. Aims on the abilities(1) To develop Ss abilities of listening and speaking.(2) To train the Ss ability of working in groups.(3) To foster Ss abilities of communication and their innovation. 3. Aims on the emotionIn this lesson, the emotional aim is :(1) To foster Ss consciousness of good-cooperation (and proper competition).(2) To help Ss cultivate their abilities to analyze and solve problems independently. (3) To foster Ss initiative and creativeness.Key points (1) To help Ss ask and answer the question: “What do you good at?” (2) To make sure that Ss can use the sentence pattern: “Who was first?”correctly .(3)To enable the Ss to listen, read, say and write the new words.(4)To develop Ss interests in English.Difficult points(1) To help the Ss ask and answer the question “What do you good at?” and make sure they can use it correctly. (2) Enable the Ss to be familiar with the sentence pattern: I like doing sth. Im good at(3) To finish the exercise by themselves.Part 2. Analysis of pupils（学情分析） Our students are in Grade 6.They are active and curious, interested in new things.After learning English for 3 years, they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language. They have learnt English for 3 years, and have already known some simple words and sentences.It is not difficult for them to understand and use the language in daily life.Part 3.Teaching methodsIt is not a long history that English is as a subject in primary school in our country .(Our boys and girls are exposed to English for the first time, so )it is very important to develop their keen interest in English.As we all know,the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to improve the pupilsbasic abilities of their listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language.So in this lesson ,(to achieve my goal.) Ill mainly use the following teaching methods:1.Communicative Approach(交际教学法)2.Task based teaching method3. Question and answer activity 4.Audio-linguistic methodThat is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations, finish a task by making a survey to help the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue. I will arrange three kinds of activities: singing, game, (finishing a survey and having a competition). Part 4.Teaching materialsIn order to practice my teaching methods well, I need the following teaching aids:1. a projector (投影机)or some pictures2. a tape recorder3. the blackboardPart 5Teaching procedures and purposes of my designing. I have designed the following steps to train their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Especially reading ability.Step 1. Warm-up (and preview)(1) . Greetings.a.Good morning/afternoon boys and girls. How are you? Are you happy today ? Whats the weather like today? The Ss greet me at the same time . And answer my questions in correct way. (2).Sing the song together: Happy New Year To You.(3).Review:a.Lets to visit our old friends Lingling, Mingming, Peter and Anne. (PPT SHOWS ) b. Review the verbs that we have learnt last term : run, eat, jump, swim, sit, draw, sing, etc. Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by singing and doing some total physical response and at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.tep 2. PresentationNow Ill mainly talk about this step. It will cost about 20 mins.1. Present the students the questions before listening to the texta.What is Anne good at? It is called Phonics(看字读音教学法，声学).purpose:It can facilitate the Ssabilities to pronounce the words, and help them to remember the spelling of the words.Step 3 PracticeIt will cost 10 mins.1.
