(帮助学生回答)3、 用同样的方法教学单词triangle.4、 如课文A部分所示，依次将圆形纸板、正方形纸板、三角形纸板贴在黑板上，拼成机器人的形状。T（边贴边问）： What shape is it?S: Its a circle/square/triangle.T(贴完后问)：What is it?S: Its a robot. (帮助学生回答)板书并教学单词robot.5、 听课文A部分录音，跟读。6、 戴人物头饰，分角色表演课文A部分。 Step 3 Practice 游戏Guess, guess, guess!（猜一猜！）教师将不同形状的彩色纸片放入上方开了一个小洞的纸盒内（洞口刚好可以伸进一只手），学生随意抽取纸片并猜其形状，猜对的可得到奖励。T：What shape is it?S: Its a circle/square/triangle.游戏Making friends (找朋友) 将全班学生分为三组进行游戏。先让所有学生闭上眼睛，将各种图形放在学生的抽屉里，再将单词卡片circle, triangle, square分发给三个组的三名学生。学生睁开眼睛，该三人以最快的速度找到卡片对应的图形，速度最快的一组为胜。Step 4 Consolidation1、 画画，要求画中包含各种形状，并用句型“What shape is it?” “Its a ”谈论所画的画。2、 评价。对学生的表现进行评价，给予肯定和鼓励，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。3、 练习。练习册P254、 家庭作业：朗读课文A部分 找出含有三角形、正方形、圆形的物品，画下来。Period 2一、 教学目标1、 能听懂、会说新单词a rectangle, a line, a dot;2、 能灵活地运用句型“What shape is it?”“Its a.”询问及描述物体的形状；3、 能诵读英语韵律小歌谣；4、 能阅读理解课文D部分。二、 教学重点及难点1、 教学重点：描述物体的形状。2、 教学难点：理解并诵读英语韵律小歌谣。三、 教学准备学生自备各种不同形状的彩色卡片、教学磁带等。四、 教学步骤Step 1 Warming up1、 师生问候2、 游戏Quick response (快速反应) 教师快速出示一件物品（clock, eraser, window, chair, apple等），学生以最快的速度说出该物品的形状，看谁反应快。或者一学生说表示形状的单词（如circle, triangle, square），其他学生迅速地说在家中发现的相应的物品，最短时间内说得多的为胜。Step 2 Presentation and drill1、 出示一个文具盒。T: What is this?S: This is a pencil-box.T: What shape is it?
