Lune Valley Dairy Farm and Guoxineulian Technology Co,. Ltd Project Proposal (China Project)Introduction: Dairy market in China has been trend to high competition for both domestic and global dairy companies. Customers main concerns are on the relevant dairy food security information and how to do traceability, which has also became the main challenges for dairy companies to attract consumers and develop their market in China, as well, how government and relevant industries can effectively maintain the whole business process from farm to consumption. Therefore, the main purpose of this report is to try to find the suitable and effective traceability techniques for driving UK Lune Valley Dairy Farms high quality dairy products to Chinese market and as an important attraction to Chinese consumers concerns on dairy safety. Guangdong Guoxinwulian Technology Co,. Ltd will be the important developer to create The Dairy Traceability System Based on IOT (Internet of Things) Technology. The dairy traceability system based on IOT technology is brand-new system. The technology roadmap is: to equip the sensors and collectors in the whole process of dairy products from the farm to the table (feeding environment of the farm, species of the dairy cattle, milk production, dairy products process, dairy products package, dairy products distribution, dairy products retail, customer inquiry, etc.) so as to transmit key data to the platform system to realize the visualized management; at the same time surveillance and supervision subsystem are equipped to supervise the working environment of sensors and collectors, so as to ensure the reality, objectivity and safety of the system. But this development would require a substantial investment and to justify this a business case must be developed to demonstrate that such an investment in the technology would deliver a return on investment as well as a strategy for achieving this. Therefore, the main missions for our business students are to explore the level of market and consumer demand that the enhanced traceability techniques would command if they were to be fully developed. Essentially, is there demand for products using these novel traceability techniques? If so which technique? Where is the demand? At what price point? What is the strategy for reaching the market? Research MissionsThe main research domains can be divided in to two parts:1. Supply Chain: this is mainly focused on the research of if the relevant dairy stakeholders like government, retailers and manufactures who will be more interesting in dairy safety traceability and how they want to act this.Research Questions:1.1 What is this technological development would deliver value and how that value would be monetized. 1.2 Who will be the interested in this IOT model, is it the manufacturers, or the retailers, or the consumers? 1.3 Will any attenders like manufacturers or retailers be willing to pay for such a technology? If yes, is it for their own purposes or to offer the information to consumers? 2. Customer Demand: This part is mainly focused on the research of customers concerns and preferences to apply this traceability platform, it can be linked to the app design and the selection of important dairy information portal.Research Questions: 2.1 Will consumers engage with an app offering the data of the key parameters and what platform they want?2.2 Will this allows for a price premium on certain dairy products? 2.3 What would the products be likely to be and what sort of premium?3. Evaluate if it exists the business or consumer need for this technology and should it be developed and how to collect the relevant profit. Research Method1. Primary Research 1.0 Online QuestionnaireThis is mainly for realizing customers demand and relevant design directions of traceability.Research Targets:1.0.1 App platform design requirements and preferences1.0.2 If customers can accept to pay higher price for the dairy product with safety traceability. 1.0.3 What information will be the customers more concerns in the process of traceability. 1,1 Interview This will focus on the research of what is the interest from relevant stakeholders like manufactures, retailers and governments, but a few customers will also join in the interview to deeply realize their experiences and thinks. In addition, the interview of some stakeholders are with a little barriers, therefore if this is with low efficiency, the research of relevant stakeholders in case study will be the most important support to replace this method. 2.0 Secondary Research 2.1 Secondary DataThis will be based on the research of foregone study data of traceability of dairy safety.2.2 Case Study This is as the important way to research and study current and foregone application of dairy safety traceability platform. The main case is the QR code scan traceability platform which has been used by “Nuztri” milk powder from New Zealand “Best Health Products Ltd” in China and
