Its terrible for me to work without speaking all day long.教学过程【预学探标】1. 预习课本P.141的单词,做到会读会背知其义。2. 预习P.6-7的内容并翻译下列短:1.吃完,吃光 2.保持她所有的东西井然有序 3.谦虚并且从不.炫耀 4.想出一些新主意 5.对所有的东西都很好奇 6.既不也不 7.做一名好会计 8.整天 【互学析标】 Comic stripStep 1 Presentation1. 教师问学生:Do you know yourself? What kind of person are you? 鼓励学生自己说出kind, friendly, helpful, careful, interesting, clever, hard-working, tell fun jokes等。板书教授新单词: creative, curious energetic, modest, organized, 领读并提问 : Does Eddie think himself generous?2. 播放Comic strip部分录音,学生带着问题听录音。3. 让学生回答问题,检查学生理解情况:Yes, Eddie thinks hes generous.4. 再次播放Comic strip部分的录音,回答下列问题:(1) Whats the interesting article about?(2) What makes generous people feel good?(3) What happens to Eddies breakfast in the end?(4) Is Eddie willing to share his breakfast with Hobo?5. 让学生打开课本,听录音跟读对话,提醒学生注意语言语调:Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation .Step 2 Practice1. 让学生俩人一组分角色朗读并表演对话。2. 教师请几组学生进行对话展示并给予表扬和鼓励。Welcome to the unitStep3 Presentation1. 教师说:Can you describe your good friends personality to your partner? What is he / she like? 鼓励学生用这些单词和词组回答:creative, curious, energetic, modest, organized, patient, keepin order, show off, come up with.2. 教师呈现Suzy, Daniel, Mr. ,Samuel, Billy 和Simon 的图片,让学生独立完成课本Part A on page 7的练习,然后全班核对答案。Step 4 Practice 1. 教师说:Millie and her classmates are talking about their own personality and the kind of job they like or dislike. Listen to their conversation and answer the questions.(1) What is Millies personality?(2) Can Paul make a good accountant? Why or why not?(3) What does Sandys art teacher say about Sandy?(4) What is Davids personality?为学生播放B部分录音,然后引导学生回答。在此过程中,教师板书并教授新知识:neithernor, accountant。【促学化标】2. 让学生四人一组编写对话,谈论自己的个性及喜欢或不喜欢的职业,然后挑选几组学生上台表演。教师可提供相关句型:Im (sometimes/always/often)I like jobs.I do not like to do/doing 教师鼓励学生大胆表达自己的观点,并适当点评。Step5 Activity1. 让学生俩人一组谈论自己好朋友的性格以及他/她所喜欢或不喜欢的职业,教师可提供以下问题供参考:(1) Who is your good friend?(2) What is your good friend like?(3) What job do you think he /she likes?(4) What job does he /she dislike?2. 让学生根据以上提示,发挥想象,组织对话,教师可选择几组学生进行表演,对表演好的学生予以表扬。【回学验标】What have you learned today ? Other parts of the face change shapes as we get older,but ears do not change their shapes. They only change in size. Reading peoples character from their ears is a very old science. In the past people thought that a persons ears with colour was dangerous. They also thought that the shape of the ears showed if a person was musical or not. Today, too many people believe that the size and shape of the ears help you know if a person is musical. Ears are all different, and each different thing has a meaning. Next time you look at a person, see if his or her ears are large,medium-size,or small. Look at the lobes(耳垂). Do they stick to the face? Ears that are always red mean that a person may get angry easily. Ears that are always cold and nearly white colour mean that a person has a nervous(神经质)character. ( )1.
