Help me to get the blackboard eraser on the top of the blackboard. Call two students first, compare them . one is taller than the other. Then compare three students, ask “who is the tallest?” After answering the questions, please sum up the rules of changing adjectives and adverbs into comparisons and superlatives .Pay attention to the irregular comparisons .To sum up the ways to use it. let the students know the learning aims and read it by heart.ppt3-6Step 2 Presentation Ask students “What do you often do on weekends? Do you like going to a movie? How do you choose a movie theater to go to?”Divide four students in one group to discuss. Show ppt 7-8.Then shou some pictures about movie theaters, teach new words and superlatives .(9-27)Step3 Sum up (1a)Practice the superlatives. Do the exercise (ppt28)and check the answers.Then ask students How do you choose which movie theater to go to? Write the things in the box under “Important” or “Unimportant”.Ss discuss with their partners and write the words in the box in the chart. Step4 Listen(1b) (ppt32-35)Show the listening tasks, Listen twice then check the answers.At the same time , show some listening methods, and after listening ,translate the sentences.(ppt36) Step5 Pairwork (1c)1.
