rescueandrespiratorydevices NewTaskTraining NewTaskTrainingrequiresprovidinganyminerwhoisreassignedtoanewtaskinwhichhe shehasnopreviousworkexperiencewithtraininginthesafetyandhealthaspectsandsafeworkproceduresspecifictothenewtaskMustbeprovidedbeforetheminerperformsthenewtaskPracticeundercloseobservationofacompetentpersonmaybeusedtofulfillthisrequirement NewTaskTraining Tasktrainingisalsorequiredifachangeoccursinaminer sassignedtaskthataffectsthehealthandsafetyrisksencounteredbytheminerTasktrainingisnotrequiredforminerswho HavereceivedtraininginasimilartaskWhohavepreviousworkexperienceinthetaskWhocandemonstratethenecessaryskillstoperformthetaskinasafeandhealthfulmanner AnnualRefresherTraining 1 Personshiredbeforetherulewaspublishedmustcompletetheirinitialrefreshertrainingnolaterthan18monthsaftertheruleispublished2 Personshiredaftertherulewaspublishedbutbeforetherulebecomeseffectivemustreceivetheirtrainingnolaterthan12monthsaftertheyarehiredornolaterthan18monthsaftertheruleispublished whicheveristhelatestdate3 Aftertheeffectivedateoftheruleannualrefreshertrainingmustbecompletedevery12months Eachminermustreceivenolessthan8hoursofrefreshertraining AnnualRefresherTraining Annualrefreshertrainingmustinclude Instructiononchangesattheminethatcouldadverselyaffecttheminer shealthorsafetyRefreshertrainingmustalsoaddressothersafetyandhealthsubjectsthatarerelevanttominingoperationsatthemineNominimumamountoftimepersessionoftraining AnnualRefresherTrainingRecommendedsubjectsinclude
