Module6 Unit1 Happy birthday! 教学设计 教材分析Teaching Material Analysis 本课内容出自外研社三年级上Module 6 Unit 1 Happy birthday!本模块的教学内容是赠送礼物,询问年龄并作答。第一单元的情境是Sam过生日时Daming等朋友给他送礼物。需要教授学生的是接受礼物时要表示感谢。1、 学情分析Students Analysis 三年级学生刚接触英语,学生学习兴趣浓厚,尤其这个单元是关于生日话题,学生了解中英文生日歌的基础上,更有利于他们接受有关生日英文的表达方式。2、 教学目标Teaching aims1、知识目标Knowledge objects(1)通过听例句发音,学习新词happy,Birthday,here,present,this,pen, pencil,cake. (2) 通过情景对话,学会说 “Happy birthday!” 表达生日祝福,以及“Heres your” “Thank you!”表达赠送礼物用语。2、能力目标Ability objectsSs can express their birthday wishes in real situations and give their presents in birthday parties.3、情感目标Emotion objects(1)Ss can take part in the activities actively, speak English bravely and be ready to express thanks to others.(2)Ss can learn about some foreign birthday cultures.(3) 学生了解接受礼物时要表示感谢。四、教学重难点1、教学重点Teaching important points Ss master all the new words and sentence patterns2、教学难点Teaching difficult points (1) Ss use the new sentence patterns freely in real situation.(2) They pronounce the words “happy、birthday、present” correctly. 5、 教学准备Teaching aidsa pen, a pencil, balloons, a fake cake, word cards, figure pictures ( Daming, Sam, Ms Smart) , presents. PPT, tape.六、教学过程Teaching proceduresStep 1 Warmer GreetingsT: Hello, Im Miss Chen. S1: Hello, Miss Chen.T: Hello, Im Miss Chen. S2: Hello, Miss Chen.T: Now, stand up. Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Chen.T: Sit down, please. Lets sing a song (Please stand up)and do the actions. .T: You did a good job. During this class, which group is No .1? G1, G2, G3, or G4 will get these presents (balloons). Lead in “cake” and write it on the blackboard.(Do the actions to make Ss understand my purpose) Step 2 PresentationT: Lets listen to a song, can you guess the name? (play “Happy birthday” )Ss: Happy birthday to you! T: Yes, great. Write “happy, birthday” on the Bb and read them. At the same time Show the PPT. (Pay attention to the pronunciation of a ir th.)T: Lets sing togetherOh, whose birthday? Lets have a look. (First, Ss watch the video). T:Oh, its Jim, Tim and Kims birthday. Lets say hello to them. Ss: Hello, Jim. Happy birthday! Hello, Tim. Happy birthday! Hello, Kim. Happy birthday! T: Next listen and follow. Then answer why they pass the birthday card one by one (in Chinese). Ss:(Assessment)T: Oh, I think you did a good job. Heres your present. (Write “present”,and show the PPT.)Guide the student to open the present on the scene and say “Thank you!”T: Whats this? A pencil ?Oh! Its a pen. (Write “ pen, pencil” )Show the PPT. T: Lets chant. Pen and pencil , pencil and pen .Guessing game: Whats this? Look, its a pen/pencil.Step 3 Text learning1. T: Today, its Sams birthday, too. Lets listen and circle “Heres”2. Write the sentence patterns “Heres your present . Thank you!” “Heres your cake. Thank you.” on the Bb.3. Practice the sentence patterns . (Make use of the cards “present、cake、pen、pencil” to practice “Heres your ”)4. Listen, follow and answer the questions . (1)What present has Sam got? (2)How old is Sam? 5. Read it by themselves and act it out.(I act as Ms Smart , two groups act as Sam and the other two groups act as Daming. Then exchange the roles.)Step 4 Practice 用“Heres your .” “Thank you.”句型操练对话,两人一组练习。Step 5 ExtensionAsk the student who is nine today or this week to come to the front.(In advance, ask the Ss to prepare a presents for her.)T: Lets have a birthday party for her.Ask Ss to send their presents to her using the sentence patterns we have learned.Sing the song “Happy birthday to you”.Ss come to the front and express their wishes and give presents.Step 6.
