登陆21世纪教育 助您教考全无忧Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister.教案【单元教学内容】本单元以描述某人的个性特征为中心而展开, 中心话题围绕Talk about personal traits and compare people这个题材开展多种教学活动,从外表和性格两方面比较人物之间的相同与不同点, 由此引出taller, shorter, thinner, longer, heavier, calmer, wilder, quieter, funnier, more athletic, more popular, more serious, more outgoing 等词汇, 以及“S + be + adj.比较级+than+被比较对象”这个重要的句子结构。Section A部分重在要求听说读三个方面比较不同双胞胎之间外表和性格的区别, 附带着在3a也提出了as.as 结构the same as结构表达两人的相同之处。与Section A部分比较, Section B部分则深入到比较自己和朋友的相同与不同之处, 并提出了“选择朋友”这个话题, 引导学生正确评价朋友, 引导学生结识真正的好朋友。【学生学情分析】 调查学生的喜好,从喜欢的话题入手。根据不同的能力布置不同的课前准备。让每一个学生上课都有出色的表现。让基础较差的学生预习好单词的读法,去了解一下什么是比较级。中等基础的学生罗列出形容人物特征的形容词。基础教好的去了解自己与他人的相似点,不同点。【单元教学目标】语言知识目标功能:表述个性特征, 对人物进行比较。语法:形容词的比较级, both的用法。词汇:more, than, taller, shorter, thinner, longer, heavier, calmer, wilder, quieter, funnier, smarter, more athletic, more popular, twin, both, be good at语言技能目标听:能听懂描述某人外表及个性特征, 人物之间外表及个性异同的句子和对话。说:能口头描述某人的外表及个性特征, 能比较不同人物之间特征的异同。读:能读懂对不同人物外表和个性描述的对话和简单文章。写:能用S + be + adj.比较级+than+被比较对象 结构描述不同人物的区别, 能用as + adj.原级+as 描述不同人物的相同处, 学会用both描述不同人物的相同处。学习策略培养分类表述, 听取特定信息的习惯。掌握描述个人特征的表达方式, 结识朋友, 介绍朋友, 了解朋友, 形成一个学习集体, 互相帮助。情感态度介绍朋友时要尊重朋友, 实事求是地评价朋友和自己, 珍惜培养朋友之间真实而美好的友谊。【教学重点和难点】教学重点:单词:both, however; 短语:in some ways, more than; 句型:1. Both Tom and Sam can play the drums, but Sam plays them better than Tom. 1) both“两个、两者都”, 在句中可作代词、形容词、副词、连词。作副词时常放在be动词之后, 实义动词之前。e.g. Both (of) his parents are doctors. (作代词或形容词)=His parents are both doctors. (作副词)They both went camping in the holiday. (作副词)Both English and math are very important. He is very old now. 他现在很老了。 They ran quite fast. 它们跑得相当快。 The weather looks rather bad.天气看上去相当糟 I am so happy. 我是如此的快乐。 表示两者之间没有差别时,使用句型: 主语(第一个人物) + 谓语动词 + as + 形容词/副词原级 + as + 第二个人物 +. 如:He is as excited as his younger sister.他和他妹妹一样兴奋。 Lily rode her bike as slowly as an old lady. 莉莉骑车像老太太一样慢。 They picked as many apples as the farmers (did). 他们摘的苹果和农民一样多。 讲述两者有差异, 第一个人物超过第二个人物时用比较级。基本句型:主语(A)+谓语动词+形容词/副词比较级+than+主语(B)+.e.g. Amoderntrainisfasterthanacar. 现代的火车比轿车快多了。 Thisbookdidntcostmemorethanthatone. 这本书花费我的钱不比那本多。 在形容词比较级前还可用much, even, still, a little来修饰, 表示“的多”, “甚至”, “更”, “一些”。e.g. 1) This city is much more beautiful than before. 2) Shes a little more outgoing than me. 3) Its a little colder today. 3.“比较级and比较级”意为“越来越” 。多音节比较级用“more and more形容词原级”形式。如:Its getting worse and worse. The group became more and more popular. 4. “Which / Who is + 比较级?”比较A、B两事物, 问其中哪一个较时用此句型。如:Which T-shirt is nicer, this one or that one? Who is more active, Mary or Kate?Which one is more popular among students, going to concerts or going to movies?5. 使用形容词比较级时需注意以下几点:1) than后面接代词时, 一般要用主格形式, 但在口语中也可使用宾格形式。 如:My brother is taller than I/me. 2) 当需要表示一方超过另一方的程度时,可以用much, a lot, a little, a bit, even, still等来修饰形容词比较级。注意: 比较级不能用very, so, too, quite等修饰。如: He is much more serious than Sam.3) 形容词比较级后面往往用连词than连接另一个比较的人或事物, 但在上下文明确的情况下, 形容词比较级可单独使用。如:My sister is tall, but my aunt is taller.我姐姐个子高, 但我姑姑个子更高。4) 进行比较的人和物必须是同一类。 My books are more than yours. Thats why I like reading books and I study harder in class. 这便是我喜欢看书而且在班里学习更加努 力的原因。 Thats why 可视为一个固定句式,表示 “ 这便是为什么”、 “ 这就是的原因”, why的后面一般接句子why I like reading books and I study harder in class”在句中作 that 的表语。3. You dont need to a lot of them as long as theyre good.朋友不在多而贵在好。此句中“ long” 为副词, 与asas构成一个固定搭配 as long as, 用来连接句 子,表示 “只要”。 又如:We can talk about this as long as you want.只要你想谈,我们就可以谈谈这事。Its fine as long as youre happy.只要你高兴就好。4. I dont really care if my friends are the same as me or different. “ if ” 译为“ 是否” 而非“ 如果”。 If 后所引导的句子是主句 I dont really care 的谓语动词care 的宾语, 故称作“ 宾语从句” I dont care if he likes or not-Im coming.我不管他喜欢不喜欢我会来的! Can you tell me if Im right, Mr. Green?格林先生, 您能告诉我我是正确的吗?5. A true friend reaches for your hand and touches your heart. 一个真正的朋友是在需要时给你帮助,使你感动。此句中“ hand”引申为“ 帮助, 援助”;“heart” 则为“情感;感受” 例如:Can you give me a hand? 你能他帮我一把吗?The movie touched the hearts of all the people at the cinema.这部电影让在场的所有观众动容。6.
