教材：外研社新标准英语初三上册Module 8 PhotosUnit 1 Its the band which gets everyone dancing.平乐县同安镇中学 陈智明、教学内容分析本单元以摄影比赛为话题，主要介绍了托尼为参加摄影比赛而在音乐会上拍照的经历。通过介绍和摄影相关的内容展示了定语从句的用法。本单元就是以摄影比赛这一个话题为载体，让学生在极为有趣而又熟悉的活动中学习和掌握定语从句的运用。估计用1.5个学时。二、学生分析初三的学生对摄影比赛并不陌生，对摄影有着浓厚的兴趣，有自己独到的审美观，加上本课以音乐会为摄影的主题，内容时尚新颖，学生的好奇心和求知欲会很强，本课生词很少，语句通俗流畅，所以学生会积极参与学习。三、教学目标1、语言知识目标：学习掌握词汇on the left/right,trouble,shot,kid,expect,pick up,get on,in with a chance,by the way,you bet!youre kidding! 2、语言技能目标：能听懂包含定语从句的句子，理解描述信息；能够运用定语从句描写比赛；能够用定语从句描写摄影作品。3、情感态度目标：学生要学会热爱生活，感受生活的美，培养健康积极向上的审美情操，培养对他人欣赏的人生态度。4、学习策略目标：能够根据自己的爱好检索资料，组织语言介绍自己所喜欢的东西；能够与他人合作介绍摄影作品。5、德育目标：学会感悟美，欣赏美，珍爱美，创造美。四、教学手段多媒体教学，录音机五、教学方法交际法；听说读写法；情景体验法和情感教学法。六、课型听和说，探讨七、教学重点、难点1、重点：定语从句的引导词that,who,which的区别和使用。2、难点：定语从句的理解和正确运用。八、教学过程分析和设计 Step 1 Lead-in(warming-up)Greeting:Good morning,class.Do you like photo?Now I will show you some bueatiful photos.利用多媒体展示一组美丽的照片，运用这组照片学习本课的新单词：on the left/right,trouble,shot,kid,expect,at the back/front,band,blues,drums,guitar,concert,dance,sing,ect.(设计说明)通过学生喜欢的照片，直观的展示了单词包含的意义，容易记忆，扫除词汇障碍。Step 2 Look at the photo.Say where it is and whats happening.Use the words in the box to help you.(activity 1) (1)Read through the words in the box with the whole class,having them repeat them chorally and individually. (2)Ask them to do the activuty indibidually,then check with a partner.(3)Call back ideas from the whole class.(设计说明)本活动可以激活一定的背景知识，同时通过描述图片使学生了解相关词汇。可以采用小组的形式进行。Step 2 Listen and check the words in the box in Activity 1 as you hear them.(activity 2)Ask the students to do this individually,then check with a partner whether they heard them all.(设计说明)目的在于建立词语和语音之间的联系。Step 3 listen and read.(activity 3)(1)playing the tape twice,catching the answers for the three questions:（多媒体展示） Can see over the peoples head? What does HeZhong do? What is wrong with Tonys camera?(设计说明)主要是训练学生的听力能力，让学生初步理解课文内容。(2)Ask the students to read and follow the conversation on the tape.
