Ss : Yes .T : Last class ,we talked about some famous foreign books .Show some pictures and talk about them .2.Show a play and guess what it is ?Ask 5 students to stand in front of the classroom and show a play .T : Can you guess ?Ss :Yes . It is Robinson Crusoe .T: Most of students read it in Chinese . So we are very familiar with it .This class we will read it in English .Step 2 While reading .1. Fast reading .T : Now look through the passage ,how many paragraphs ?Ss : Four .T : Lets read it one by one .and get the main idea .Now read paragraph 1 and get the main idea .Read paragraph 2 and get the main idea .What does the writer mainly tell us ?2. Careful reading.1. Read the passage carefully . Show two questions .What does Robinson Crusoe wait for ?He waits for another ship ?Why does Robinson Crusoe call the man Friday ?Because he saved him on Friday.2.Read the passage again and do 3b and 3c .3b1.
