Unit 10 Ive had this bike for three years 阅读课教学设计Section A (3a-3c)reading 【教材分析】Unit 10 Ive had this bike for three years 本单元是人教版2011版新课标八年级下册的最后一个单元,话题是关于学生的生活环境,鼓励学生使用目标语言谈论自己拥有的物品和周围的事物。本单元涉及到的语言知识依旧是现在完成时,引导学生正确使用现在完成时询问并表达持续性的动作或状态。【学情分析】 八年级学生有一定英语基础,对于语言知识的运用有一定的积累,这是学生们可以通过合作讨论完成阅读知识点的基础和前提。而且本册第八单元和第九单元的现在完成时的学习也可以有助于本单元的学习和掌握。但八年级下半学期,在英语学科中也出现了两极分化的趋势,因此课堂小组合作学习能够有助于学生的互帮互助、交流进步。【教学目标】 本课时学习内容为:Section A (3a-3c)reading 部分l 知识与技能目标1. 指导学生能在扫读、跳读、细读过文章后按要求独立完成阅读任务。2. 引导学生能通过小组合作讨论掌握重点单词的用法,并理解知识点的含义。3. 帮助学生通过阅读文章简单了解庭院拍卖的背景知识。l 过程与方法目标1. 鼓励学生通过扫读scanning和跳读skimming这样的速读方式学会寻找阅读理解中的信息点,从而完成阅读任务。2. 鼓励学生通过小组合作讨论对阅读文章的含义,及其知识点进行讨论,相互讲解。l 情态态度目标:鼓励学生学会合理处理自己的物品,留意自己周围任何事物的变化。【教学重点难点】通过给予学生语言知识学习提纲,教师鼓励学生通过小组合作形式讨论理解阅读中的语法知识点。结合中考考纲要求,以阅读材料为内容,以中考题型为模板让学生能在理解的基础上完成针对性练习。【教学步骤】Step 1:Lead-inThe teacher uses ask & answer game to call on students to get into class as soon as possible, and by answering questions, students can master the basic knowledge of yard sale in foreign country. 1. When do people usually have yard sales? A. On weekdays B. On weekends 2. Why it is called “yard sale”? A. People sell things at their yard B. It sounds good3. What kind of things do people sell in a yard sale? A. Something they dont need any more. B. Something they think important. 4. Why do people like to buy things in a yard sale? A. Because the things are very cheap. B. Because the things they cant buy in other places.Step 2:Warming upThe teacher offers students a simple conversation example to enable students do the pair-work to prepare for the reading and review the learned sentences patterns at the same time. The oral pair-work also helps to consolidate students spoken English.A: How long have you had the ?B: I have had for years.A: How much is /are ?B: It is / They are dollarsStep 3:Fast reading Based on exercises 3a, the teacher prepares two reading tasks for students to do after scanning and skimming. Task one is designed to let students match the main ideas of each paragraph after skimming. And task two is to let students find out the key words about things going to sell in the passage after scanning. Before the task, the teacher gives students tips about how to carry out the skimming and scanning reading method. While checking the answer, the teacher calls on students to name the source of the answer for better understanding.Skimming - match the main idea. Scanning - find the key words.Step 4:Careful reading The teacher uses 3b as a task reading to let students read the passage carefully and answer questions correctly, before doing it, she guides students to catch the key words of each question and to find answers and the source of answers.
