(2) Encourage students to speak and use English. (3) Consolidate one important grammar_Present Continuous Tense. 3. Affection and Attitude (1) Show the really interesting English class to students, and they can get more confidence and encouragement from the interesting English class. (2) By learning Present Continuous Tense, students can pay more attention to their behaviors in class, and let them know that what theyre doing is gradually deciding their future. Key Points and Difficulties 1. Key Points (1) Students can master new words. (2)Understand the Chinese meaning of reading comprehension (Para3) (3)New grammar. 2. Difficulties (1) Students can use these new words to make sentences and use these sentences to make a dialogue. (2) Students can remember some important words, phrases and sentences of Para3. (3) Students can use the new grammar to express that what somebody is doing. Learning Strategies 1. Reading, speaking, listening, discussion, pair-working and exercises. Teaching Tools1. Word cards, blackboard, PPT2. Music, Multi-media. Teaching Procedures Part1 Review Step1 Ss: Call 4 students to guide to read the old words from P1-2. Ss: All the students read the passage of P2, Para2.(Play an English song and their reading voice must covers the music) T: Check old words, phrases and sentences.Part2 Lead-in Step1 T: Praise all students. Share some beautiful pictures together. At the same time, ask them the following questions: 1. T: What are you doing? Ss: We are training. 2. T: What are you doing? Ss: We are studying. 3. Then explain these phrases and sentences.
