ATTACHED14 (MAIN GENERATOR &EMERGENCY.GENERATOR PROTECTION SETTING VALUE &PMS FUNCTION )General1 Tests are to be carried out in the presence of ABS surveyor and the owners representatives. Yard is obliged to inform them in time. The makers test engineer will be present if necessary.2 Tests to be carried out after inspection of appearance, proper installation and earthing, also to confirm the protection & safety device satisfactorily.3 The test method of electric equipments for machinery & deck auxiliaries shall be conducted in according with schedule mooring test of machinery and outfit parts.4 The test results shall be submitted to ABS and owner after finishing tests.5 All equipment (motor, starter etc.) to be Megger-tested before any tests are carried out and the Megger readings to be submitted.6 All motors to check for insulation resistance values and reading submit.7 Data-collection table to be submitted for recording results during inspection.1 Main generators 1.1 Alarms and Safety device test of diesel engine.This test shall be carried out under conducting of “Schedule mooring test machinery part”.-3.1, 3.21.2 Insulation resistance testMeasurements of insulation resistance shall be carried out by a DC 500V megger meter before and after load test, test results shall be recorded.(not less than 1M in hot condition).Noted:An ohmmeter shall be used for semi-conductive rectifiers.1.3 star/stop &remote control test1: on the local, start/stop the DG2: on the MSB inside ECR, remotely start/stop the DG1.4 Load test of DG sets(time&load list refer to Schedule mooring test machinery part”.-3.3 )The load test of generators to be done by means of an adjustable water resistance(cos=1)connected to busbars of MSB. The generators to be running at no load for 5 minutes: at 25%, 50% load for 15 min. At 75% load for 1/2 hour. At 100% load for 1 hours and at 110% load for 15 min. After load test, each winding temp. shall be measured and recorded.1.5 Voltage static characteristic test of DG setIt is to be initiated that generators are adjusted to rated voltage & frequency by use of water resistants load(cos=1). Then steady voltage & frequency variations from full load to no load (100%75%50%25%0%) and back to full load(0%25%50%75%100%). In each step, the value of voltage & frequency shall be measured and recorded.It is to be verified that drop of voltage and frequency is within allowed limitations.Voltage variations:2.5% of rating voltage(11.2V)1.6 Dynamic characteristic test of diesel generator setThis test shall be verified that transient voltage, frequency variations and settled time are within allowed limitations. 1: When a generator is running with 100% load, suddenly reduce to 50% load, after steady , suddenly continuous reduce to 0%, check the variations of voltage and frequency.2: When a generator is running without load, first stage add 35% load, check variations. Second stage add from 35% to 50%. check variations. Third stage add from 50% to 75%. check variations. Fourth stage add from 75% to 100% ,check variations.Test results shall be recorded. It is verified that the variations of voltage and the settled time shall be withing allowed limitations.Transient voltage variations:-15%+20%(382.5V540V)Transient revolution variations:10% Settled time: 5 Sec.1.7 Parallel running testadjustment shall be done so that each generator may carry 75% load of its rating respectively. Then the total active load(cos=1)is changed as:75%50%25%50%75%100%.(3minutes for each step)parallel running sequence: 1#&2#, 1#&3#, 2#&3#, 1#&2#&3#In each step of above loads, an active power, voltage and current shall be measured and calculations shall be made about the deviations from the rated active power of the proportional share based upon each generator rating.The max. deviation not more than 15% of one generator power2 Emerg. Generator2.1 Alarms and Safety device test of engine.This test carried out under conducting of “Schedule mooring test machinery part” 4.12.2 Insulation resistance testSame as the main generator2.3 Load testSame as the main generator, but at 25%、50%、75% load ,each step for 1/4 hour: at 100% load for 1 hour.2.4 Voltage static characteristic testMethod as same as the main generator, Voltage variations:3.5% of rating voltage2.5 Dynamic characteristic test (refer to Schedule mooring test machinery part”.-4.4 )1: When a generator is running with 100% load, suddenly reduce to 0% load, check the variations.of voltage and frequency.2: When a generator is running without load, first stage add 50% load, check variations. Second stage add from 50% to 100%. (0%50%100%). check variations. Transient voltage variations:-15%+20%(382.5V540V)Transient revolution variations:10% Settled revolution variations:5% ; Settled time: 5 Sec.2.6 Auto start testEmerg. generator will be started automatically within 45s by main power failure signal 2.7 After battery fully charged, it is to be sufficient for start not less than three times without re-charging.2.8 Test of emergency starting by manually operating spring accumulator .3 Main switchboard 3.1 Measurement of insulation resistance The value please reference to the date during MSB workshop test3.2 DG Protection &alarm setting and test ,please refer to attached page P1415.3.3 Interlocking function test The function of the following interlocking reliability shall be demonstrated.Between the air circuit breakers of generator and the feeder breaker of shore supplySpace heater interlocking with the air circuit breaker of generator.4 Preferential trip & auto sequence start after black out4.1 Preferential trip First stage: 10 second delay following consumers: 409D, air condition in ECR, air condition set, GAP1, GAP2, 406D, 408D, 25DSecond stage: according to consumer following consumers: 1# and 2# ballast pump4.2 Auto sequence start after black outCheck following consumer auto sequence start function after black out:First stage: 1#&2# M/E lub.oil pumpSecond stage: 1#&2# M/E jacket cooling water pump; 1#&2# L.T. cooling water pumpThird stage: 1#3# sea water cooling pumpfourth stage: 2#4# E/R fan 5 Emergency switchboard5.1 Measurement of insulation resistanceThe value please reference to the date during ESB workshop test5.2 EG Protection &alarm setting and test ,please refer to attached page P15.6 Power management system6.1 Manually remote start and stop testOn the computer of AMS, remotely start/stop DG 6.2 Other test of PMS ,please refer to page 15.6.3 Automatic parallel running and auto-change over operation testThis test shall be carried out according to “PMS standard”.(1) Auto-starting of generator(2) Auto-synchronizing(3) Auto-load sharing during parallel running(4) Auto-load transfer, during change over of generator6.4 Big consumer start request function (ballast pump/simulation signal )7 Transformer test7.1 Insulation measurement Insulation resistance of the following circuits shall be measured by a DC500V megger.(not less than 1M)(1) Primary side to secondary side(2) Primary side and secondary side to earth7.2 Working testVoltage & current of primary & secondary side shall be measured under actual service condition.8 Battery charging & discharging function test Function test, measure the voltage and current, battery charging and discharging.8.1 Elecreic test panel testFunction test of switch,meters,sockets etc.9 Essential & important motors and the controllers9.1 Insulation resistance test (not less than 1M)The insulation resistance for essential & important motors shall be measured.9.2 Actual service testUnder the actual service condition, the motor with control gear shall be demonstrated in accordance with “Schedule quay test of machinery & outfit parts”.9.3 The following function shall be tested (refer to schedule mooring test machinery 16) 9.3.1 Remote/local start or stop and auto change over (c/o) by ST-BY pump for the following pump in E/R.Main S.W. PUMP (c/o)M/E H.T.F.C.W. PUMP (c/o)M/E L.T.F.C.W. PUMP (c/o)M/E. L.O. PUMP (c/o)9.4 Emergency remote stop system testThis test shall be carried out by operation of emergency stop switch, the detail list of ES1&ES2&ES3 please refer to ele. Power Primary system drawing P5&P6.ES1( for E/R oil pump and fans emer.stop )The ES1 switch to be installed in E/R entry. &ECC & fire cont. station&CO2 roomES2 (for accormdation fans emer. stop)The ES2 switch to be installed in wheel house& fire cont. stationES3 (for galley equipment emer.stop)The ES3switch to be installed in fire cont. station&galley entry 10 Galley equipments, washing machine, heating appliances and miscellaneous electric power equipments10.1 Insulation resistance testInsulation resistance between each conductor and earth shall be measured by a DC500V megger.10.2 Working test The operation of these equipment shall be demonstrated.11 Light equipment11.1 Navigation light(1) Operation test and also check control panel indication correctness (2) Power source changerover and alarm11.2 Signal light(1) Operation test and also check control panel indication correctness (2) Power source changerover and alarm11.3 General lightingLighting test shall be carried out on each circuit and correct connections of the light fixtures, switches and accessories .Check the remote control function in wheel house for the outside flood lighting.11.4 Emergency lightingLighting test shall be carried out on each circuit and correct connections of the light fixtures, switches and accessories.12 Alarm monitoring system&navigation alarm system12.1 alarm monitoring system Every point for the monitoring and alarm system shall be demonstrated.Extension alarm, engineer call, engineer safety alarm shall be demonstrated.12.2 navigation alarm systemEvery point from the navigation equipment and alarm should be demonstrated13 M/E remote control system 13.1 check the whole system in good condition. And carry out alarm points test 13.2 telegraph system test13.3 speed meter system test 13.4 manoeuvring test in local & engine control room& bridge13.5 test with M/E engine running to check all parameters in correct condition and the whole system in steady condition .14 Fire detection and alarm system & C/H water ingress alarm system14.1 fire detection and alarm systemThis test shall be demonstrated by operation of each detector and call push button and verifiy correction in fire control panel (W/H) and its repeater.14.2 C/H water ingress alarm systemThis test shall be demonstrated by operation of each detector and verify correction of system. (note: level switch tested by manual operation and sensor tested by water inside container or according to makers standard)15 Navigation equipments(function test can be carried out during seatrial)Check the following equipments and cables if they are correctly and completely installed and properly earthed.15.1 Facsimile recorderCheck the function of the equipment by receiving weather chart.15.2 Gyro compassCheck alarm function for power failure.Check the base line of master compass & each repeater stand. The error of master compass to be less than 1.15.3 Auto pilotadjustment test for rudder angle indicator.test for steering gear at follow-up and Non follow-up condition.15.4 GPS navigatorCheck the equipment for operational condition & functional test.15.5 Speed logCheck the equipment for operational condition.15.6 Echo souderSounding test at wharf and check the equipment for operational condition.15.7 RadarsCheck the installationalof radar antenna and performance monitor.Check the equipments for normal operation and the pattern on the display at various ranges for clearness.Check the operational condition of radar push buttons.Measure the minimum operation range.Check the matching condition between radars & log, gyrocompass etc.15.8 Functional test for Clean view screen & window wiper&heater glasses15.9 function test for Whistle with machinery part15.10 anemoscope and anemometer- Functional test15.11 VDR and AIS- test it in normal working condition15.12 muster and slave clocks-function test16 Interior communication equipments(1) Check the following equipments and cables to see if they are correctly and completely installed and properly earthed.(2) Check the insulation of the following equipments specified by each instrument manual.Note: For semiconductor circuits, acc. to makers requirement.16.1 Automatic telephone and sound power telephone systemFunctional test according to telephone list16.2 Public address system and talk back systemFunctional test for P.A.and talk back system.16.3 Television & radio antenna multicoupler Measuring the receiving signal tensity with special device16.4 Check the following equipments with functional test(1) General alarm(2) Refrigerated chamber calling alarm(3) CO2 release alarm(simulation)(4) Rudder angle indicator(5) Hospital call alarm system(6) E/R alarm light column syetem(7) Water tight door indication alarm16.5 LAN system for computersAfter installed all computers supplied by owner ,function test should be done by crew to check the whole system in good condition.17 Power distribution circuits-insulation test17.1 Measure insulation resistance by the insulation meter on MSB and ESB.17.2 Measure insulation resistance by the insulation meter for galley equipements and washing equipments.Note: The insulation resistances are not to be less than 1M when tested 18 Radio system18.1 Measure the insulation resistance of antennas of following equipments which to be not less than 2M in dry condition and 1M in humid condition.18.2 GMDSS console18.2.1 MF/HF equipmentCheck the tuning conditionCheck the function of equipmentCheck the operation condition of battery charger.Check the DSC functionCheck the operation condition and emergency illumination light.18.2.2 INMARST-CCheck the function of equipment by telex.Check EGC function.18.2.3 VHF radio telephoneCheck the function of equipment by conversationCheck DSC function18.2.4 Check the grounding of console.
