文档简介

学生习作(经过指导教师修改)My favourite teacherAs a teenager, I am often asked about what I am going to be in the future. A lawyer? Or, a scientist? No, my ideal career is to be a teacher. There are many reasons. One of them is because I want to be a teacher like Mr. Chen. Look! Do you know what is it? A-ha its the earth! He said and knocked at his head at the same time. And then, he touched his nose and asked: and do you know what it is? Let me tell you, it is the highest mountain on the earth. Who can tell me its name? This is what he said in our first geography lesson. He looks funny and his lessons are very lively, just like his appearance. Everyone loves his lessons. But when we laugh, we can learn a lot about geography at the same time. He is such a humorous teacher that we all love this subject at once. Its he who opens the door of geography for us.Generally speaking, most of the teachers were strict and sometimes a little bit demanding, not so with Mr. Chen. He was a beacon, showing us the way to the treasure of knowledge. He was a friend, always encouraging us to speak out regardless of our shyness and other shortcomings. He was an example, volunteering his time to other students and colleagues. He loves his hometown, his motherland and this beautiful and wonderful world so much that he seems eager to share his knowledge and love with everybody. He always says that:” youre the sun and I am the earth. I always go around you.” But, in my eyes, compared with the earth, he is like the sun more, because he always tries his best to help others, just like the sun always sends its light and heat. One day I went to a hospital to see my friend. Suddenly I met my geography teacher. I wondered why he came to the hospital. He is strong and he didnt look sick then. Did he come to see his friends too? Then, when I saw the cut on his arm, I realized: he was donating his blood. Later, I knew that he often went to hospital to donate his blood. When I heard all about these, I was moved because he taught me to be helpful person by his behaviour. His dreams to teach in the northwest of China and to make a change in the education system have encouraged me to work hard and someday I wish to I am able to help the people he loves and wants to help. The fact that it makes a difference in other peoples lives is the real prize. What a great feeling!Every time, I see my globe, it can always remind me of Mr. Chen. As a teacher and friend, Mr. X has supported, taught and encouraged not only myself but many of us at school. He is not only a teacher of an example to students, and young teachers, but also a moral teacher of love and devotion. He is the most unforgettable teacher I have ever met and I think he will always be.Thank you for making learning not a job but a joy.Thank you for helping me to discover what I do best-and to do it even better.Thank you for being someone I can always trust-and turn to when life gets difficult.Thank you for understanding all of usand giving us the time and care each of us needs.Become good at anything and you will love life more.Thats what you said. And its true. You put beauty into my hand. And that was my beginning. You, as my teacher, gave me words, images, ideasfrom which to build my life.Whatever I build, you helped to lay the foundations. 作者:泰州二附中2014届 仲崇珺 指导教师:虞苏 2013年江苏省初中生英语电视口语大赛一等奖获得者删减稿:用于2013年江苏省初中生英语电视口语大赛一等奖命题演讲As a teenager, I am often asked about what I am going to be in the future.
