她和大哥强忍悲痛 协力安抚可怜的爹娘 全家人好不容易度过了那一段特别难挨的时光 如今 看着仅仅几年过去 就已经苍老了许多的养父母又开始为她和大哥的婚事操心了 女娃儿想了很多 养父母对她恩重如山 而从小抱她长大 如今已经长成了堂堂男子汉的大哥也是她非常心仪的人 于是 她羞涩地把自己的心事悄悄地告诉了养母 这可是天大的好事情啊 白百大的祖父母自然高兴不迭 而白百大的父亲知道了自己养妹妹的心事后 更是兴奋极了 他红着脸对爹娘说 我只知道疼爱这个妹妹了 怎么就没有想到过娶她做媳妇呢 于是 爹把家里几乎所有的积蓄拿出来 买回好木料请人为他们做了宽敞结实的新木床 又打了几样简单适用的家具 娘为他们缝制了新被褥 做了新衣裳 就在当年的腊月里 爹娘挑选了一个吉祥的好日子让他们圆房了 隔一年的初夏时节 白百大呱呱坠地 全家人沉浸在无比的幸福之中 这以后 尽管白家父子日日辛勤劳作 婆媳俩勤俭持家 可生活过得仍然没有多么宽裕 但全家人一起生活却非常幸福安逸 其乐融融 美中不足的是 眼见着可爱的大胖孙子白百大慢慢地长大了 但由养女变成的亲媳妇却再也没有继续生育的迹象 如此 白百大就成了白家的独苗苗 爷爷和奶奶的把这个宝贝疙瘩视为命根子一般 一步不让离开 稍微长大些了以后 爷爷和奶奶就特别告诫喜欢和小伙伴儿们到处疯玩儿的白百大 千万不能去长江边儿上玩可是他们哪里知道 在长江边儿上出生的男娃儿怎么可能不酷爱水 不喜欢长江呢 白百大这个北方人的后代 现在已经被江南的水土几乎完全驯化成了一个地地道道的南方娃儿了 在
