一、图表分析报告核心内容常见的图表有line graph, bar chart, pie chart等。描述主要有客观性(objectivity)、准确性(accuracy)和详尽性(thoroughness)等三个特点。必须熟练掌握的词语和句型1、上升趋势.eg. increase to $20million动词：to increase 名词：an increase to go up rise a riseto expand a growthto grow a leapto leap a jumpto be on the rise an upswingto be on the increase a soarto jump an upsurgeto upswing to soarto shoot up to upsurge急剧上升to reach a peak；to peak at; reach the highest point at到达最高点2、下降趋势to decline/ a decline to drop/ a drop to be on the decline to decrease/ a decrease to fall/ a fall to go down to reach a low point to to reduce/a reduce to collapse/a collapse; plummet; plunge 急剧下降reach the bottome at; reach the lowest point at; bottome out at 到达最低点3、表示稳定在一个水平上to level off at to level out at to stabilize at to have little change to keep steady to remain constant to stay the same to remain unchanged 4、表示到达多少数量的及物动词或词组to reach to arrive at to amount to 5、表示占多少（后面跟%百分数或数字） to account for to represent to constitute to make up to occupy 6、（变化）程度较大a great deal/a lot/big considerable/considerably dramatic/dramatically great/greatly drastic/drastically marked/markedly quick/quickly rapid/rapidly remarkable/remarkably sharp/sharply sudden/suddenly significant/significantly much fast 7、变化较小a bit a little hardly small fractional/fractionaly gentle gradual/gradually steady/steadily slight/slightly slow/slowly 8、表示大约的副词或词组About; around; approximately; roughly; just over; just under 9、表示超过的词或词组： over/more than/just over to overtake; to surpass; to exceed; 10、具体来说To be more exact,= more exactly To be more precise,=more precisely To be more specific,=more specifically 根据上面的词组，一般可以用这样两个句型： There is a slight increase in sales in October. The sales increased slightly in October. 当然，sales 可以用任何比较主体来取代，比如There is a considerable leap in the average income in 2000. 上涨 A slow but steady increase was followed by a sharp fall and an increase towards the end. 其它常用句型1)节节上升主体 rise steadily from 时间 to 时间 。 2)A型变化上升后下降 A steady fall in 比较主体 during 时间 and 时间 followed the sharp increase in 。 3)V型变化先下降，然后上升 较主体 dropped during 时间 but increased again in 时间 to（exceed时间）。4)M型波动基本平稳，些许变动（或涨或跌，幅度不大） 比较主体 hardly changed throughout the period between 时间 and 时间 ，except for a slight increase or decrease in 时间 。 5)N型变化平稳上涨，急速下跌，然后再上涨 A slow but steady increase was followed by a sharp fall and an increase towards the end. 6)注意这些描述变化的程度和速度的形容词，使得我们的语言更加精确：Sample 1 The bar chart shows the changes of domestic, export and total sales between 2005 and 2008.The domestic sales rose steadily from $60 million in 2005 to $80 million in 2006.
