Good morning, honorable judges. Its my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. Today Im going to talk about Unit 1,part A and B, Fun With English.In this unit, we will learn the sentecce pattern”How many are there?”and some words about the facilities of schools and parks.Considering the National Standard of Curriculum, the content of the lesson and the level of the Ss, I have planned the following teaching aims.The first is the aim of knowledge. It is to learn and command the following sentence patterns:”Is/Are there?”, “How many are there?”,Ss also have to command some words about the facilities of schools and parks.The second is the aim of ability. The creative spirit is quite important to the Ss. So Ill pay much attention to train it in my class. Ill try to train the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing,especially listening and speaking. This is to mainly improve their communicative abilities and encourage them to speak as much Engilsh as they can.The third is the aim of emotion. To make Ss have the feeling of success and achievement. And to make them take part in Engilsh study.The important point in this lesson is to help the Ss read the new words and use the key sentences correctly. I think to motivate the Ss interest in Engilsh is also important. Ill try my best to achieve it. As for the difficultties that could arise, Ss should read the words correctly and use these key sentences in real situations. Then Ill talk about the teaching procedures and the process of my plan.Ill finish this lesson in 4 steps:The first step is the warm up and preview. In this part, I would like the Ss to listen to and sing the song “Two Jackets”together. The reason I planned this step is that its important to form a better environment for the students by singing. It provides a situation to review and preview knowledge for the next step.Now to move on to the second step: presentation and practice. Ill mainly talk about this step.I divided it into 3 parts. First is learning the new words. CAI shows two big pictures of the facilities of schools and parks, Ill write the words on the blackboard. Then ask the Ss to read and spell , paying attention to the pronunciation. After that, Ill show the pictures to the Ss, ask sb to say the words & put the pictures in the right places on the blackboard. The purpose of this patrt is that with the help of CAI&pictures, I can provide a real situation to understand the meaning of the words.The second part is to practice the key sentences. Ill show some pictures with some facilities in them. Then use these words to imitate the song “Two jackets” The song can arouse Ss interest in learning the key sentence. The last part of this step is to teach the dialogue.Ill let the Ss listen to the tape first, after that,Ill ask them some questions about the dialogue.Then Ill let the Ss listen to the tape again, then they can answer the questions. These questions can help the Ss better understand the dialogue and practice the useage of the key sentences at the same time.The third step is consolidation. I planned 2 activiies in this step. Activity one is to divide the Ss into groups, CAI shows the picture of our school to the Ss,and then let them try to write a short dialogue using the key sentences theyve learned in this lesson. Activity two is according to the questions Ive given while teaching the dialogue, let the Ss try to act out the dialogue themselves. I think the ultimate goal of teaching is to make Ss aware that they are masters of learning and need to put the language into use. This kind of consol
