教 学 设 计Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious.Section A 1a-1c人教版(新目标)九年级英语 Go for it鲖城中心校 顾秋实二0一七年五月Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious.Section A (1a-1c)教学目标:1.学习并使用和festivals 有关的单词和短语。 2.进行相关的听力训练,并进行情景会话。 3.学习用目标语言来谈论有关节日的话题。教学内容:1.学习使用感叹句来谈论对节日的喜好。 2.学习使用宾语从句来表达对节日的看法。教学重点:学习使用感叹句和宾语从句描述相关的节日。教学难点:能够联系实际,运用所学目标语言表达自己对节日的看法和观点。教具:暢言语音系统,课件。教学过程:Step 1 Lead inPresent different festivals on PPT , help the students talk about the names of the festivals: the Water Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Chinese Spring Festival, the Lantern Festival , the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc. For examples:Mid-Autumn Day : Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Chinese Moon Festival, take place at the 15th day of the eighth Chinese lunar month . The reason for celebrating the festival during that time is that it is the time when the moon is at its fullest and brightest.The Water Festival : April 12-15, is the traditional Thai New Year. It is celebrated as a public holiday in Thailand. It is a wet celebration because it is the intense but fun water-throwing by the people.The Dragon Boat Festival : also named “Chong Wu Festival” or “daughters Festival” ,take place in May 5th in the lunar calendar. Eating zongzi and dragon boat race are important customs.The Chinese Spring Festival : Chinese New Year, is the most important festival for all of us. All family numbers get together on New Years Eve to have a big meal.The Lantern Festival : falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month , usually in February or March. The day s important activity is watching lanterns.Step 2 1aAsk the students to complete 1a. Match the pictures with the descriptions. Ask the students to read the conversations in 1a, and try to describe pictures a-d in pairs. Then some pairs present their conversations to the class.Step 3 Listening1b. Ask the students to read the sentences in 1b , then play the recording for the students to listen and circle T for true or F for false. Tell the students about the listening skills : Try to know the questions to the listening . Read the questions carefully . then listen carefully. If they cant understand them all, listen again. Check the answers together. Lastly, reading the listening materials is necessary.Step 4 Conversations 1c. Ask two students to read the conversation in 1c to the class. Then ask the students to make other conversations to talk about the festivals in 1a. For examples:- What do you like best about the Chinese Spring Festival ? - I like nice food and pocket mpney.Step 5 Exclamations What -!1. What + a/an + adj. +n. (single) + S + V !2. What + adj. + n. (pl.) + S + V !3. What + adj. + n. (Un.) + S + V ! How-!1. How + adj./adv. + S + V !2. How + adj. +a/an + n. (single) + S + V !3. How + S + V !Step 6 Finishing the exercisesFinishing the following exercises.1. - good advice !2. -slowly he walks !3. -important information it is !4. -carefully they are listening !5. -cold it is today !Step 7 SummaryThis lesson we learned some traditional festivals in China.
