Warming-up 1. Teacher talk about trip on May Day to Beijing (PPT展示),2. ask some students to talk about their trips on May Day. 句型:On May Day,I went to Beijing ,in the morning I visited-,/ in the afternoon I visited-, at night,I had-. Presentation,1. Play a game and do the match work (1) This activity shows the key expressions.Show the 7 pictures. Ask students to guess what the people did , ask students to repeat: did(do) my homework, (go)went to the cinema, went boating, (camp)camped by the lake, went to the beach,(play) played badminton.句型:what did she /he do? she /he +V过去式-.(2)ask Ss do the match work and check together. ListeningWork on 1b This activity gives students practice the conversation.Point to the activities in the picture in la. Ask students to tell what the person did in each picture. For example :A:what did the person do?B:she played badminton, /Lucy went to the cinema. 1)Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.2)Play the recording a second time. This time say. Listen to the recording and write the days and times Lucy did each thing under the pictures. the sample answer :badminton; on Saturday morning.3)Correct the answers. Pair workWork on 1c This activity provides oral practice using the structures.(1)Point to the example conversation. Ask two students to read the dialogue to the class.(2)Students stand up and work in pairs. Listening Work on 2a: This activity asks students to practice understanding the key vocabulary in conversation.1)Point to the five sentences and ask a student to read these sentences to the class.2) You will hear recording of a conversation. The people will talk about some of the activities and people. Please underline the words you hear on the recording.3)Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.Play the recording a second time. This time, ask students to underline each word. Point out the sample answer, grandmother.3)Correct the answers one by one. Listening Work on 2b: This activity provides listening practice .1)look at the pictures of Carol, Becky, and Jack and ask students to identify(识别) each person by name.2) Now I will play the recording again.
