教学设计与反思课题:Go For It 八(上 Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?个性化备课与思考:个性化备课与思考:个性化备课与思考:个性化备课与思考:个性化备课与思考:科目:英语教学对象:八年级学生课时: 第一课时提供者: 单位:一、教学内容分析本节英语听说课主要学习谈论不同电视节目以及不同的人对各种电视节目的喜好。通过观看一段由不同题材的电视节目(sitcom, soap opera, news, talk show, game show, sports show, talent show)剪辑后合并而成的视频(大约4分钟)引入话题。学生通过 watch, match, listen, pairwork, role-play 等活动了解不同类型的人对各种电视节目有各自的观点和爱好,要求学生能结合1a2d的文字、图片、听力等材料并结合自身的生活经验和喜好开展讨论并发表自己的观点。二、教学目标Language skill aims:1. Ss learn about people have different opinions about different kinds of TV shows. 2. Ss learn how to express their own views about the different TV shows.3. Ss are able to role-play the conversation between Grace and Sarah. Knowledge aims:1. Vocabulary and useful expressionssitcom, news, soap, educational, plan, hope, find out, discussion, stand, happen, may, expect Key and difficult sentences What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows? I cant stand them. I dont mind them. I like/love them. / I dont like them. Emotional aims: Ss Learn the names of different kinds of television programs. Lead the students to form a correct concept of culture. Cultivate the students awareness of cross-cultural. Grasp the infinitive structure as the object of a verb;难点:The infinitive structure as the object of a verb.五、教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图Step1 Lead-in and presentation1. Ask Ss questions : Do you like watching TV? Whats your favorite TV shows? 2. Now lets watch a short cutting video and tell us what kind of TV shows you are watching?Now you watch the cutting videos about talk show, soap opera, sports show, sitcom, game show, talent show, news. what do you think of soap opera/sitcom/?Step 2: Look and match the pictures Now please open your books at page 33. Watch the pictures carefully and match the TV shows with the pictures. Step3 . Listen and numberYou will hear four short conversations. What kind of TV shows are they talking about? Number the shows in the order you hear them.Step4. Pairwork Let Ss look at the pictures in the box. Then explain the meaning of each expression to the Ss. Walk around classroom to offer help where necessary. Step 5. Listen and numberT: Lin Hui and Sally are talking about TV shows. What do Lin Hui and Sally think of the TV shows? What do they plan to watch? Lets listen to the tape and number the shows in order. Step 6. 2c Listen again and complete the sentences Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. Play the recording for the Ss to write.Step 7: Pairwork Tell Ss ask and answer questions about the TV shows in 2a. Read and role-play1.Read the conversations and underline the different names of TV shows.T: Grace and Sarah are having a discussion about TV shows. What kind of TV shows are they talking about? Read the conversation quickly and underline the different names of TV shows they are talking about. Game shows, sports shows, soap operas, the news, talk shows.Listen, watch and answerread and spell the new words, phrases and sentences.Task1: Ss watch the pictures carefully and try to find out the right pictures for the names of different TV showsTask 2 Ss listen to the listening material in 1b and number the shows in the order they hear. Rope- play the conversationMake sure Ss understand the new words and key sentences in the conversation. We had a discussion about TV shows. I like to follow the story and see what happens next. They may not be exciting, but you can expect to learn a lot from them. I hope to be a TV reporter one day.1.通过观看剪辑后合并的视频引出生词sitcom, soap opera, news, 理解sitcom soap opera 的确切涵义。2. 通过视频截图,引出新句型及生词What do you want to watch?What do you think of?I cant stand them.I dont mind them.本节听说课教学共设计七个任务,看图片并选择恰当的图片和电视节目名称匹配。目的在于使学生明白sitcom, soap opera, talk show, game show 的确切涵义。听音排序(这项任务主要在于让学生通过听一段谈论不同电视节目的对话,排列所听到的电视节目名称,目的在于训练学生抓关键词talk show, news, talent show, soccer game的能力)。同时也是为了加深对不同电视节目名称的英语表达方式的印象。简单表达自己的观点的Pairwork.学生能够根据自己的生活经验和喜好对不同电视节目表达看法,如:I love them. I like them. I dont like them at all. I dont mind them.I cant stand them.听长对话排序所听到的节目名称。这项任务稍微复杂一些,主要训练学生能从所听的材料中根据说话对象对多种电视节目的观点排列出所听到的节目名称。听对话并填写句子的完整信息(这项任务主要是训练学生抓对话的主旨大意及细节的能力,既要求学生听懂对话中人物的具体观点,同时又要求学生有一定的英语速记的能力。根据听力材料开展Pairwork 活动。这项活动主要训练学生口语表达能力。要求学生尝试使用want to, hope to, expect to, plan to 等动词不定式作宾语的句型。 角色表演。本项任务主要培养学生能根据所学的句型和语法功能模仿对话中的人物谈论对时下不同电视节目的观点。学生可以结合自己的感受而不必拘泥于原文。Homework:1.Read the conversations in 1b and 2a, 2d.2.Make sentences by using the following phrases:want to, plan to, hope to, expectFinish the homework .通过作业加深对本节课所学对话的理解和句型的掌握。六、板书设计七教学反思八上Unit 5 课前预习卡课前尝试:1. 单词跟读磁带三遍( From sitcom to expect) 你认为你发音有困难的单词有哪些?_2. 你能写出下列电视节目类型吗?谈话节目_ 肥皂剧_ 体育节目_ 情景喜剧_ 游戏节目_ 你还知道其他的电视节目类型吗?(请至少写出三种)_3. 通过预学尝试翻译下列句子:1. 你认为访谈类节目怎么样?_ do you think of talk shows?2. 还可以吧,我不是十分介意(这类节目)。Theyre Ok.
