Revision & Warming up:1. Enjoy a poem about the weather.The rain is raining all around,It falls on trees and on the ground,It rains on flowers and on me,And on the ship that sails at sea.2.Enjoy a video about four seasons.3.Work in groups of four and make a conversation about favourite seasons.Step 2. Pre-readingI. Present the new words and expressions about four seasons with pictures and read them aloud.Bees and butterflies play among flowers.If the rain comes, they hide from the April showers.There are also quiet streams, trees and shade. The temperature rises quickly at that time.The leaves fall into piles upon the ground.Its the best time for farmers to harvest crops.Trees and flowers forget to grow. Birds fly far away. II. Practice:1.Complete the article with the new words. In winter, white _ covers the whole earth. It is often very cold and the _ can drop below zero. The weather is nice in spring.
