四年级下册英语Unit4 At the farm Part A Lets learn 教学设计 西蕉山小学 焦丽萍学情分析:学生从三年级开始学习PEP英语,已经具备了一定的口语表达能力。学生在观察能力,思维能力,语言表达能力方面都有了较高的提高,有着强烈的好奇心和动手操作能力,他们喜欢在自己的探索中获取知识,喜欢在玩中学,喜欢在做中学。教学目标:a.学习蔬菜词汇及其复数形式:potato(es),tomato(es), carrot(s),green bean(s);能够熟练运用上述单词,用“Theyre .” 描述蔬菜特征。b.培养学生良好的英语学习策略,综合运用语言能力,为学生的学习奠定基础。C.培养学生多吃蔬菜水果意识,让学生明白新鲜蔬菜水果有益于身体健康。教学重点:a.掌握蔬菜词汇:potato(es);tomato(es);carrot(s);green bean(s). B.掌握描述蔬菜特征:用句型“Theyre.”表达。教学难点:potato和tomato复数形式变化;carrot的读音。教学方法:情景教学法;实物教授珐;讲授法;视听法;谜语导入法;小组合作法;练习法。教学准备:多媒体课件;蔬菜食物A. Warm-upLets chant:I like tomatoes.I like potatoes.Carrots I will try.I love eat green beans.But onions make me cry.设计意图:轻松愉悦的chant,不仅活跃课堂氛围,还间接地呈现了新知识,为新课奠定了基础。 Free talk:T:Good morning,boys and girls. Ss:Good morning,Miss Jiao.T:How are you?Ss:Fine,thanks.And you?T:Im fine,too.Look outside.Whats the weather like today?Ss:Its warm and sunny.T:What a nice day! Now were going to an interesting place. a.It has many trees and grass; b.It has many animals; c.It has all kinds of vegetable.There are potatoes,tomatoes,carrots,green beans,onions,etc.Can you guess? Where are we going?教师引导学生回答:Farm(农场)T:Yes,well go to the farm.引出课题:Unit Four At the farm设计意图:本课的导入自然有趣,创设一个真实的情景,把四种学习的蔬菜整体呈现给学生,使学生初步感知,认识本节课学习内容,通过设疑问的形式激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生的注意力集中,有效参与到课堂学习活动中。If you want to go to the farm,you must break through four. Every time you get through,you will get a “gift”.B.Presentation(Lets learn) The first round-Teach“carrot(s)”-yummya.T:There is a riddle for you.Lets play a guessing game:Its a kind of vegetable.Its orange. The The rabbits like eating it very much.What is it? Ss can answer it both in Chinese and English.教师引导学生回答:Its a carrot. Then I will show the picture and drill it.After that lets count the carrots in the picture.(eg:one carrot;two carrots;three carrots and many carrots).呈现单词“carrots”并张贴,带读,男女生读。b.What are these? They are carrots. What colour are the carrots? They are orange.I like carrots.They re yummy.(实物试吃)T:Do you like carrots? Ss:Yes,I like./No,I dont like.(表达喜好)The second round-Teach“green bean(s)”-fresha.I show a picture of “green beans”and ask“What are these?Are they carrots?”No,they arent.教师引导学生“They are green beans.”呈现单词“green beans”并张贴,带读,小组赛读。b.Look at the green beans.They are fresh and green.You can make a delicious meal with the green beans.The third round-Teach“tomato(es)”-juicyT:I have something to eat.They are red and round.They are not apples,but a kind of vegetable.Can you guess?What are they? Ss can answer it in Chinese or English.板书tomato(es).张贴图片,带读,小组赛读。T:You know,both apples and tomatoes are red and round.Apples are a kind of fruits,but what about tomatoes?引导学生They are a kind of vegetable.T:I like tomatoes very much.Do you like them?(根据实际情况回答)T:Now look at me.Do what I do, ok? Just like this.(教师用刀将tomatoes切开,帮助学生理解“juicy”词意。)教师指着“juicy”,学生理解Tomatoes are red and juicy.The fourth task-Teach“potato(es)”-tastya. 出示土豆的图片T:Do you know what it is? French fries are made of it.Do you like potatoes?(You should answer the questions according to the actual situation.Dont say what everybody says.) When the potatoes become fries,they are tasty.Ss:The potatoes are big and tasty.板书potatoes张贴,带读,赛读。设计意图:以谜语导入新授知识富有创意,激发学生的好奇心,调动学生的积极性。可数名词复数变化形式: 一般情况下,在其后加-s.eg: carrots以元音字母“o”结尾的可数名词,且前是辅音字母,这类名词变复数形式,在其后加“es”.eg:potatoes tomatoes记忆方法: 分析: po-“婆”的读音首字母; ta-“他”的拼音; to-“偷”的谐音。 方法:婆婆(po)的土豆被他(ta)偷(to)走啦!Congratulation to everyone! You are great!T:Now Sarah,John and Mike are at the farm.Lets go and have a look.Lets listen to the recording.Questions: Are the green beans long? Are the potatoes big?设计意图:回归文本,通过听读,保持学生高涨的学习情绪。C.Practicea.Whats missing?教师出示四种蔬菜的图片,快速闪现三种,让学生快速找出另外一种蔬菜,并抢答。b.Pair work: Four in a group to practice.Introduce the vegetable what you like with the sentences,then make a dialogue.eg: S1:I like carrots.They are yummy. What about you? S2:I dont like carrots.I like tomatoes.D.Consolidation&ExtensionT:这节课,你学到了什么?T&Ss: 这节课学习了tomatoes,potatoes,carrots and green beans.四种蔬菜。它们是农民伯伯通过辛勤的劳作才得以收成的。我们还知道新鲜的蔬菜含有丰富的维C。因此,Eating more vegetable is good for our health.E.Homework一星级:听录音,能读准单词和句子。二星级:能够运用本科词汇和句子在实际情景中灵活运用。(根据实际情况任选一题)F.Design of Blackboard Unit Four A t the farmPictures (图片如下) carrots They are yummy. green beans They are fresh. tomato
