TheyreIII.Teaching methods Communicative method, Situational method IV.Teaching aids Multi-media, Cards, PPT, Video V.Teaching procedures Step1: Warm-up Play a videoStep2: Presentation Teachers activities:Show students the pictures of the new words one by one and ask students “whats this? What are these?” Then teach students the new words and write them on the blackboard. Ask students to read the new words and ask some students to read the new words.Students activities: Look at the pictures and repeat each word. Explain lets talk sentence by sentence.Teaching thought: Ask students to read the words again so that they can read them correctly and understand their meanings clearly. Step 3: Practice Teachers activities: Show students a picture of “potatoes”, then ask the questions “Are these tomatoes?” They may answer like this “Yes, they are./No, they arent.” Invite some students to answer the questions above. Students activities: Look at the pictures and answer the questions. Then ask students to work in pairs to make dialogues and perform the dialogues.Teaching thought:Give students an example so that they can understand the teachers questions clearly. Invite students to answer the questions so that the teacher can check the students understanding. Step 4: Consolidation Teachers activities: . Give students two example dialogues about “I like thewith the”Then ask students to work in groupss to make dialogues and perform the dialogues. Invite some groups to perform their dialogues before the class. Students activities: Work in groups to make dialogues and perform the dialogues. Teaching thought: group work can develop students interests and consolidate the newly-learned knowledge. Step 5: Summary Teachers activities: Get students to repeat the new words on the blackboard. Students activity: Read the words loudly. Teaching thought:Sort out the words learned in this class and help students understand them better. Step 6: Homework 1. Copy the new words for five times. 2.
