Unit4第三课时一、教学内容分析:本节课是PEP教材四年级下册At the farm中的第五课时,本单元的话题是At the farm,通过前几课时的学习学生已经对农场有了一定的了解,并学习了和蔬菜有关的单词和句型,本课时呈现的是农场的另一场景图, 图中引出了本课要求重点掌握的单词sheep,hens,cows,horses以及句子These are sheep. Wow! Theyre so cute.通过本节课的学习让学生们知道农场不仅可以种植蔬菜,还可以饲养动物。二、学情分析:学生在三年级已经学习过部分常见动物的名称,他们对小动物很感兴趣,因此本课时要学的动物单词能激发学生的兴趣,并且通过前几课时的学习,学生对农场并不陌生。但是四年级的学生注意力不够集中,所以在本节课中我设计多种有趣的活动来吸引学生的注意力,让学生参与到课堂中来,充分发挥学生们的主观能动性,培养学生们综合运用语言的能力。另外,部分学生基础知识较差,对自己缺乏信心,因此课堂中老师应当给予及时的鼓励。三、教学目标1.语言技能目标:(1)能够运用句型These are. Theyre so.描述农场中的动物,并对农场的牲畜进行简单的交流。(2)能够辨认农场中常见的牲畜。2.语言知识目标:(1)能够听、说、认读本课时的主要单词:sheep,cow,hen,horse及它们的复数形式sheep,cows,hens,horses。(2)能够听、说、认读句子“ These are. Theyre so.”。3.情感态度目标:(1)增强学生保护动物的意识。(2)让学生懂得一分耕耘,一分收获的道理。4.学习策略目标:(1)通过农场歌曲导入,切入本节课的主题,既把学生带入了英语学习氛围中,又活跃了课堂气氛。(2)通过复习环节中猜一猜的游戏,既复习了已经学过的单词和重点句型,又通过学过的农场中的蔬菜单词自然引出农场中还有动物,从而自然展开新课。(3)通过多种较新颖的形式引入新单词,通过创设有趣的课堂活动提高学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。(4)通过小组合作学习,培养学生团结协作的精神和增强学生们的竞争意识。四、教学重点和难点1.重点:单词:sheep,hen,cow,horse及其复数形式的表达。 句型:These are. They are potatoes.日常的问候可以拉近师生间的距离以及集中学生的注意力。通过让学生唱关于农场的英文歌,既把学生的注意力集中到课堂中来,活跃了课堂气氛,同时将今天上课的主题At the farm自然的引出。通过分组激发学生的竞争意识。把课堂交给学生们,通过有趣的猜蔬菜游戏,让学生参与到英语课堂中,通过这种方式既复习已学过的单词和句型,以旧带新,引出后面新单词的学习,又调动了学生们的积极性。Step II PresentationT: There are also many animals on the farm. Do you know? Lets go to the farm and have a look.1. Continue the game.(1)sheepT shows the picture of “sheep”(被遮盖的),and let Ss guess what it is.T:May be, OK. Lets look at it. T shows the complete picture.T: Yes, its a sheep. sh-ee-p(强调sheep的发音)T reads the word sheep sheep. Its a sheep. (四线三格板书,并贴上绵羊图片)Then T shows some sheep. T: How many sheep can you see?T: Yes, there are four sheep.(重读sheep这个单词,引起学生的注意, 让学生明白sheep单复数同形)sheep sheep. These are sheep.T: Are they cute?(指着黑板绵羊图片解释 cute)T: Great! Theyre so cute.(2)horseNow, listen!Who is coming? (老师播放课件中马叫的声音,让学生猜猜接下来出场的是什么动物)Yes!Itsahorse.(四线三格板书并贴图)Then T shows a pictureT: horse, horse, its a horse.Then T shows the picture of many horses and writes “horses” besides “horse”, (并把单匹马的图片和一群马的图片放一起,让学生区别:horse,horses.)T: What are these? (指着多匹马的照片)T: Yes, these are horses.(强调horses的读音)horses horses , these are horses.(3) henT shows an egg, and asks: “Whats this?”T: Yes, its an egg. (Draw an egg on the blackboard.)T: Where is the egg from?T:Yes, it is from the hen.(再刚才鸡蛋的基础上,加几笔画出一只母鸡。)T:hen hen its a hen.(四线三格板书并贴图)T shows the picture of many hens.T: What are these?T: Yes, very good. These are hens. (学生回答正确后,及时给予学生高度的评价,并且把动物卡片分发给优秀的小组。)T:hens hens , these are hens.(4) cowT: What is it?T: Yes, its a cow. Lets learn Play the tape of “Lets learn”Firstly, just listen.Secondly, listen and repeat. Ss look at the picture and guess:S1: 绵羊。S2:山羊。Ss: 是绵羊。Ss read the word after the teacher sheep sheep. Its a sheep. Ss: I can see four.Ss: sheep sheep. Listen to the tape and read after it.告诉学生农场里除了蔬菜还有动物,引出本课要学习的动物单词。顺应刚才猜一猜的游戏方式自然引出sheep一词。通过可爱的绵羊图片引出cute一词。horse的复数horses的读音有点难度,教师要多次示范正音。通过鸡蛋延伸到母鸡,并通过简笔画的形式画出母鸡。注意让学生们模仿磁带中的语音语调,锻炼学生们的听力及口语。Step Practice1.Draw and sayOne student draws, the other says the English names.2.Game2: Whichoneismissing?T shows the picture of the some animals and let Ss say which one is missing. They are so cute.通过心有灵犀的游戏进一步操练巩固所学动物单词。通过做哪种动物消失的游戏让学生能快速地读出该单词,提高认读速度,达到熟练掌握的效果。 听音猜单词具有趣味性和挑战性,进一步巩固了单词,并重点操练了句型。Step Production1.Read and writeOpen your books and turn to page43T finds a student to check the answer.教师给予恰当及时的评价。2.
