Teaching procedures and tasks: Teaching steps(“T” stands for “Teacher” and “Ss” sand for “Students”): Unit 11 Period I Teaching aims of Period I:Help with the chores at home. 1.熟悉一些有关家务活的词组及短语, 如:do the dishes, sweep the floor, take out the trash, make your bed, fold your clothes, clean the living room, wash the car, walk the dog, do the laundry, feed the dog等。2初步理解”Could you please do sth.句型。 3. 能够用英语谈论自己对于家务的喜好。4. 掌握like to do / doing 的用法。5教育学生保持房间的整洁、热爱家务劳动是良好的习惯。6. 在教学设计上,本节课之前可以先发给学生一个家务劳动调查表格或者把设计表格的任务作为作业留给学生, 激发他们学习的兴趣,帮助他们熟悉重点词组。(见附件1)7在情感教育上,引导学生意识到, 他们应当在家中帮助父母做一些家务、为家庭作一些贡献。 8引导学生礼貌待人。 9本节课课型:听说课。Steps Activities PurposeTask 1 To help with the chores at home (听说课). To help Ss remember the names of some chores and learn to use “Could you please?”Conclusion: To help Ss draw the conclusion that they should help with the chores at home and they should do something for their family.
