Teaching Important and Difficult Points1.Train the students reading and writing skills 2.Lead students to learn to care for the disabled.III. Teaching ProceduresStep 1 Warming up and lead in. Ask students to play a game.T: Can you open the book? Can you close the book?S: Yes its easy. T: Can you open the book without your hand and arms? T: How do you feel?S: Its uncomfortable and difficult. T: But in our daily life, this is common life of someone. They cant use their arms or hands easily, Normal things like opening and closing the book are difficult for them . Lets watch a video. Whats wrong with the man? Yes, he is blind, he cant see anything. How can he go travling? A dog guides him. Its a guide dog.From the video, we can see, for the blind, maybe the dogs are their eyes and friends. Today, well learn a story about a disabled person and a dog. Before reading ,I want you to have a look at the learning objectives of the passage.New words & phrases Reading strategies Retelling Help the disabled and spread your love to others【设计意图】通过游戏环节让学生体会残疾人的生活,鉴于学生对国外导盲犬知之甚少的现状,在课前先播放一段关于导盲犬的视频,让学生充分感知导盲犬这一文中将要出现的角色。通过导盲犬而引出关爱残疾人这一中心话题。学习目标的展示让学生对本节课的学习有了更清晰的认识,有了关注的重点。Step 2 Fast reading T: Id like you to know some reading skills.We usually find the topic sentence of each paragraph to understand the whole passage. Read the letter, find the topic sentence of each paragraph.The topic sentence ususlly is the first or the last sentence of the paragraph. 【设计意图】阅读策略的讲解对于学生的学习有一定的帮助。这篇文章主要说的是如何找主题句以及主题句的作用。Step 3 Careful reading1. Read the 1st paragraph and answer 2 questions1. Why does Ben write a letter to Miss Li?2. What is “Animal Helpers”?2. Read the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs and fill in the blanks Life without LuckyLife with Lucky1.I cant use _ or _1.Lucky can _ me when I give him orders .2. _ things like_,Opening or closing the doors or carrying the things are _for me .2.For example ,I say ,“Lucky!_,” and he does it at once .Check the answers.【设计意图】学生通过仔细阅读,进一步熟悉这封信的细节意思;为下文复述感谢信做铺垫;培养学生快速获得文章细节的能力。3. Read the passage again, finish some tasksLets talk about the following pictures with the tips of phases and words.【设计意图】再次阅读,疏通对文章的细节了解,通过短语、单词的提示造句,让学生提升遣词造句的能力的同时,让学生对文章的内容了解更详细,深层次把握文章大意,提高对文章的复述能力。4. According to letter, whom Ben Smith wants to thank. Miss li a friend lucky animal helpers Ben is a disabled person, the people in this letter helped him out ,made his life convenient for him. As normal people, we should make our best to care for them,help them in different ways.I believe the person who needs help is not only Ben Smith, but hundreds of disabled persons. Please help them and give our love to them. To care for the disabled, we also have a world disabled day. Its on December 3rd. Lets remembet it and and try to do something.Step 4 Group workT: As students, what should we do for the disabled? Please work in groups. While talking, the leader of each group write down their opinions then has a report like this: “In my group, well.” 【设计意图】让学生能够根据所学的内容并加以整理和归纳,灵活的使用语言,同时也对学生很自然地进行了情智的提升,达到教育学生关爱残疾人这一情智目标。Step 6.Summary and HomeworkT: Class, Im proud of you. Lets enjoy another video. In our life, there are many disabled people. The disabled people are normal people except they cant see as much as we can or they can not walk as fast as we can. So they need our help. We should respect them and help them We shouldnt look down upon them. Because we know helping others will benefit you as well. I believe if everyone of us can help others, our world will be more and more beautiful.Todays Home work:Write a composition about what you will do to help the disabled.【设计意图】关爱残疾人视频的播放做到了首尾呼应,同时对学生的情智起到提升作用。作业的布置让学生对学到的知识做到巩固提升,写作的训练使学生的写作水平得以提高。 Unit2 Reading 教学反思本课选取的是人教版第二单元阅读部分,采用阅读教学中“整体阅读”的教学原则,即先从整体上把握文章大意,整体感知;再逐段理解文章的细节,循环加深;最后整体推进,深层理解。通过本课的教学活动,学生能够在阅读理解的同时提高猜测单词词性的能力,从而提高文章阅读理解能力。同时,培养学生热爱社会公益事业、扶危济困、乐于助人的优秀品质。本课有几个亮点:1.比赛机制以及游戏环节的的引入,调动了同学们的积极性,同时也提高英语学习的趣味性。2.在讲课过程中通过对多媒体课件的应用,使学生在轻松、愉快的氛围中对阅读能力得以训练,充分挖掘了学生的学习潜能,调动了学生的学习兴趣,使他们形成了积极的情感态度。3.课前视频的导入以及课后视频的播放,让学生充分感知导盲犬以及残疾人的生活,使学生了解残疾人的困难,激起学生的爱心。4.在读后设计的三个活动中,学生通过阅读策略的学习,对词性有一定的了解,
