Teach the students to describe the other people correctly.2. Ability objects : 1). Train the students listening and speaking skills. 2). Train the students communicative competence.3. Moral objects: Teach the students to describe the others friendly, and teach the students not to judge the others by their looks.Key points: 1. key vocabularies and sentence structure. 2. How to describe the other people.Difficult points: 1. How to describe the others.Teaching aids: PPT、radio、chalkTeaching steps : Step 1 : Warming up 1. Introduce myself and greet with the students.2. Divide the students into three groups, and each student can get one mark for his group if he does well in the class.3. lead-in: show a video . Then say: different people have different looks, today we will learn how to describe the others. Then show the topic of this Unit.Step 2: presentation1. Show the new words with some pictures and practice them. At the same time, show the main sentence structure of this lesson.2. Play a game: Go back home. The baby words cant find their homes.Please help them find their “Homes”.show some words. And ask the students pay attention to the usage of “be” and “ have ”. At the same time ,show a micro-class to teach the students how to use “be” and “have”.3. Doing Magic: Show two pictures of my students,then ask the other students: What does he/she look like? After doing magic for them, ask the students once again: What does he/she look like? Step 3: New lessons 1. Ask the students to finish activity 1a, and remind them they can use some letters more than once.2. listening text: Before-listening: what are they talking about? While-listening: key sentences and key words. After-listening: find the answer.1a: This part is easy, so ask the students to write down their answers. And find out who is Amys friend.2a: The students will listen to three conversations, they should catch the key words with the questions.2b: Its a little difficult. So before listening, we must remind the students to write the first one of two letters for each words when they catch the key words. 3. Check the answers and practice it.Step 4: Practice 1. Pairwork: Let the students talk about the people around them, maybe their friends, their students, their teachers ,their parents and so on.2. Fruit writing game: There is a person behind each fruit, let the students write something about these people, each group write a person.Step 5: Consolidation1. Summary: 2. Do some exercise.3.
