Section A 1 (1a-2d)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy, tonight, little, cinema, glasses, later 能掌握以下句型:What does he look like? She has long straight hair.Is he tall or short?2. 情感态度价值观目标:让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象,不以貌取人。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点: 掌握单词,熟练掌握描述人的形象的句型。2. 教学难点: 掌握描述人的形象的句型。三、教学过程. Lead-in1. Watch a VCR about finding a person:1. Where are they?3. Who are they?4. What does the person look like ?2. Learn some new words. The teacher uses the pictures to lead and teach the new words and the new sentence pattern. And then ask the Ss to describe the classmates.先利用图片展示进行新单词句型的引入,让学生熟悉。接着要求其他同学描述三位外貌典型的同学,再小组练习。这样更形象,更贴近生活,学生更容易接受,加强了学生间的合作与交流。再按发型,身高,体重的类别练习以免混淆,同时加深记忆。. Presentation (Section A 1a)1. Match the words with the people in the picture. (1a)学习课本的第一部分P49,1a 先看图片,然后搭配图片和相关的外貌特征的词。Now please look at P49, Use the letters to match the people in the picture with one of the numbered words. Write each letter next to a numbered word. You can use some letters more than once. Point out the sample answer.留2-3分钟读写1a中的单词、短语。2. Pair work At first the teacher gives the Ss an example. Then ask Ss practice like this. A:What does he look like?B: He has short hair. He is tall. He is medium height.这样完整地描述人的外表是为后面能安排、完成任务做铺垫,同时能检测学生的掌握情况,以便老师随时调控。3. 1b Listen and fill in the blanks in the picture above. Were meeting at seven, right? 我们七点见,对吗?1) meet相当于汉语中“集合;见面;碰头;聚集”。如: Lets meet at the school gate at eight tomorrow. 我们明天八点在校门口集合吧。2) right表示“对吗,是吧”,用来表示对此前陈述内容进行确认和核实。全句为Is that right? 口语中常用不完整的句子表达意见或想法。 2. , but I may be a little late. a little意为“有点儿”,用来修饰形容词。 e.g. Its a little cold tonight. 今晚有点冷。【拓展】a little意为“一些;少许”后跟不可数名词。 e.g. Theres a little meat in the bowl. 碗里有点肉。 3. Well, he has brown hair and wears glasses. glass作“玻璃”讲时,是不可数名词;作“玻璃杯”讲时, 为可数名词;而glasses则是“眼镜”之意。 e.g. Glass is broken easily. 玻璃很易碎。 Theres no water in your glass. 你的杯子里没有水了。 Does she wear glasses? 她戴眼镜吗?
