教学设计:Unit 11 How was your school trip ?Section A 1a-2c淮南十四中 魏胜瑾教学目标:知识目标: (1)词汇 milk, cow, horse, feed, farmer, quite, anything, grow, farm, pick, excellent, countryside (2)短语 milk a cow, ride a horse, feed chickens, quite a lot, in the countryside(3)句型:a. How was your school trip ? It was great/ fun /relaxing/ interesting/. b. Did you see any cows ? Yes, I did. I saw quite a lot. c. Did you ride a horse? No, I didnt. But I milked a cow. d. Were the strawberries good ? Yes, they were. /No, they werent.技能目标:1、根据听力训练能正确掌握听力的技巧和方法;2、掌握用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情,能正确运用一般过去时的各种句式;3、能运用适当的评价词对过去的学校旅行进行评价,提升语言表达能力。情感目标: 学会客观的表达对事物的看法,培养乐观向上的性格。教学重难点:1、通过创设情景引导学生掌握新单词、新句型,培养学生听说能力。2、对过去的事情进行询问并做简单的描述,引导每个学生参与动口、动手。3、规则动词和不规则动词的一般过去式。教学准备: 教师准备:录音机、图片、课件。 学生准备:收集一些常用的动词短语。教学过程:Step1 Lead-in1) Greeting as usual.2) Song: Play the song “Old Macdonald had a farm” and had the students find out the animals in the song.Get the students answer like this: On the farm, there are some ducks, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, dogs and horses. They are animals.3) Free talk: Show some pictures with people doing sth.and ask: What did he/she/they do?Lead to the new lesson.Step2 Presentation1) Show a picture on the screen and say: Look at the picture. This is a farm. Last week Carol and his classmates had a school trip. They went to the farm. What did they do on the farm? How was their school trip? 2) Show the pictures by the screen and try to get the past forms of the verbs according to the pictures. a) Show the pictures and questions on the screen . b) Ask the student answer individually.c) All Ss read together.For example: a) What did he do on the farm? He rode a horse.Did he ride a horse? Yes, he did. b) Did he go to the zoo? No, he didnt. He went to a farm. Did he see any cows? Yes, he did. He saw quite a lot. 3) Finish 1a: Have the Ss match the phrases with the pictures. Check the answers.Step 3 Exercises (课件展示)Step4 Brief summary Past过去 Present现在 rode a horse ride a horse fed chickens feed chickens did homework do homework went to a countryside go to a countryside picked strawberries pick strawberries milked a cow milk a cow Step5 Practice (Listening and speaking)1) For1b, Play the recording and ask Ss to listen and circle the three things Carol did on her school trip in 1a. Then check the answers 2) For 1c, First show the sample conversation and the relevant picture on the screen. Ss drill in pairs. Then have Ss make their own conversations. At last ,ask some pairs to Ask and answer questions about Carols school trip .3) Finish the listening task in 2a and 2b. Check the answers after the Ss finishing checking and circling. Explain the difficult points.4) For 2c , Guide the student to practice questions and answers about Carols visit to the farm according to 2b. 5) Have Ss practice conversations in pairs according the pictures on the screen.For example , A: How was your school trip?B: It was (boring/interesting/good/great)A: What did you do on the school trip?B: I went for a walk with my classmates. Then ask several pairs to volunteer their conversations.Step 6 Summary and language points (见课件)Step 7 Exercises (见课件)Step 8 Homework 1) Revise the new words , phrases and sentences of this period.2)Group work : Make a survey.
