Present th-/ PPT presents th-/ and some words, such as three, thin, thirteen and maths.2. Present Thad and more words which contain th-/. 1. Can you say any more words which contain th-/? 2. PPT present Thad and some more words which contain th-/.3. Make some sentences about Thad. With the key words and the help of the pictures, Ss try to make some sentences about Thad.4. Present Thads baby brother. Thad has a baby brother. He has a birthday, too. He has a birthday on the third of the month. (Present a calendar to help Ss to understand the third month.)5. Lets chant.6. Present Thads family. Thad introduces his family, such as his grandfather, grandmother, father, mother and his baby brother.7. Present th- /. Father, mother, 8. Can you say any more words with th - / ?9. Listen, circle and say.10. Choose, write and say.11. Lets draw a mind-map!Ss look and read together.Ss try to think and say more words about it. Ss try to read the words.Ss try to make some sentences about Thad.Ss look and understand the meaning of the sentences. Then try to read it correctly.Ss chant together with the flash.Ss act as Thad to introduce Thads family members.Ss read them.Ss try to say more words.Ss do the exercises on the book of P40.Ss try to draw a mind-map.从th-/入手,先出现课文的4个单词,让学生感知其发音方法,再留给学生思考的空间,让学生想想还有哪些单词含有th-/?然后,老师再呈现相应单词,让学生利用这些单词来造句,再次锻炼学生的思维能力。所呈现的故事与课文的chant是相辅相成,让学生更好的理解了chant。通过呈现Thads family 来过渡到th- / 的相应单词的学习。做课本的练习,进一步巩固所学知识。通过绘制思维导图,让学生理清本节课所学的知识脉络。Step IIIConsolidation& Extension1.
