Unit 6 Work quietly!Part A Lets learn & Look and sayI. Teaching analysis本课时重点学习现在进行时的一般用法。在第五单元中,学生们已经对现在进行时有所了解,有了基本的认识。本节课在孩子们对已有知识的基础上,添加了新的句型和单词,体现了循序渐进的教学原则。II. Teaching aims and demands1. 能够听、说、朗读“What is/are . Doing?” “. is/are .”等询问他人和表达自己正字做事情的交际用语。2. 能够正确听、说、写短语,如:doing morning exercises, having . Class, eating lunch, reading a book, listening to music等。3. 能够听懂、会说Lets learn 的内容,并根据实际情况运用本课重点句型表达自己及他人正坐在做的事情。4. 能够提高口语表达能力和语言组织能力,并且进行积极的思考和大胆的创新,提高自主学习能力。III. Teaching key and difficult points1. Key points: 1) 能够掌握短语如:doing morning exercises, having . Class, eating lunch, reading a book, listening to music等。 2)能够在实际语境中交流运用关于正在做事情的问答句“What is/are . Doing?” “. is/are .”。Difficult point: 学生能够大胆创编和表演有关正在做事情的问答小对话。IV. Teaching aids 多媒体课件、教学卡片V. Teaching proceduresStep 1. Warming-up and revision1. Greeting.2. Listen to a song-If you are happy clap your hands. Students can sing the song following the tape.Review Show students pictures. let them tell me what can you see.T:What are they doing ?Ss:They are-.Step2. Presentation1. Show students a picture of them. And ask “What are you doing?” Then pay attention to the difference between “ do morning exercises” and “ doing morning exercises”. 2. Present a picture of an English class. And ask “What are the students doing now?” Then pay attention to the difference between “ have” and “having”. 3. Show a picture of some kids. And ask “What are they doing?” Then pay attention to the difference between “ eat” and “eating”.4. Present a picture of a baby. And ask “What is the baby doing?” Then pay attention to the difference between “ read” and “reading”.5. Show two pictures of listening. And ask “What are they doing?” Then pay attention to the difference between “listen” and “listening”.Step3. Consolidation and extension1. Guessing gameAsk some questions about Chen Jie to consolidate the new phrases.2. Pair workA: Whats _?B: She is _.A: What book is she reading?B: She is _.1) Set an example between the teacher and a students. And then give students 2 minutes to make dialogues in pairs.2) Ask two pairs to show their dialogues.3. Watch the video of “Lets learn”. And ask students to read following the video.4. Make a report.Give students a paragraph with some blanks. Students can fill in the blanks and complete the report of Chen Jie.5. Look and sayTeacher give students an example,.
