Section A (1a-1c)课型Teaching 教学目标(一)知识目标:1.识记词汇:outgoing, better, loudly, quietly。 2.掌握含有形容词、副词比较级的句型结构。能力目标:能用含有形容词、副词比较级的句子对人的外貌及性格特征作对比. 情感目标:懂得尊重自己和他人。教学重点:掌握含有形容词、副词比较级的句型结构。教学难点:能熟练并正确运用形容词和副词比较级的句型来造句。学情分析:本课教学对象为八年级的学生。这一阶段的学生思维能力发展较快,自我意识增强,在情感方面能进行自我教育。经过一年的新课程理念的熏陶及实践,也有了初步的自主、合作、探究、实践的能力。教学方法与学法 :任务型教学法,自主探究与合作学习 教具准备: 多媒体课件过程与板书设计: Step1:Revision1.T:Morning,class!Today we will learn“Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister. Section A (1a-1c)”(板书)2.T:At first, Lets learn about the study aims.(出示学习目标学生齐读)设计意图:使学生学习目标明确,有目的的去参与到课堂之中。3.T:Well,before our new lesson ,lets review our last lesson.(1)形容词和副词比较级的变化规则。(要求学生齐声回答)(2)写出下列各词的比较级。tall_ short_ long_ thin_heavy_ nice_ funny_ fast_good_ many_ friendly_ beautiful_ (找三名学生到黑板上写,之后师生共评,期间走到学生中,给予其余同学以适当指导)设计意图:复习旧知,为后面教学环节的顺利开展铺平道路。Step2:Lead-in.1.First,Show a picture of Jordan, and ask Ss“What does Jordan look like?”. Lead the students to say a sentence like this“Jordan is tall.” 2.Then,show the other picture of Jordan and Yao Ming. And ask the question“Compare with Jordan, could you tell me what Yao Ming looks Like?”Next, tell the students we can use “Comparative degree”(比较级).Like this: Yao Ming is taller. Or we can also say“Yao Ming is taller than Jordan.”(领读句子,让学生们观察并体会含有比较级的句子的句型结构)Step3:The new sentence patterns.T: Today , well learn how to compare people like Yao Ming and Jordan. Now lets make up more sentence like that.Then ,the teacher show more pictures and lead the students to make up more sentences to practice the new sentence patterns.Eg: Fan Bingbing is taller than Jia Ling.The red box is bigger than the green box.The train runs faster than the car.Jia Ling is much heavier than Fan Bingbing. . .Next, ask some students to make up sentences like these by themselves.设计意图:由已知自然过渡到新知,引导学生认识,了解并学会运用新句型。At last, summarizing the new sentences. 形容词和副词的比较级的基本用法:1.表示两者(人或事物)的比较。2.句型:主语+be+adj.比较级+than+比较对象。 主语+have/has+adj.比较级+n.+than+比较对象。 主语+谓语动词+adv.比较级+than+比较对象。3. 注意:much, a lot, a little, a bit, even , far等用于比较级前说明比较级的程度。Step4:listening practice.First,look at the picture on page 17. Ask a few students to say what they see in the picture.Next, ask students to draw lines between the words of opposite meanings. Read the instruction and point to the sample answer.(1a)Then, check the answers. Next, listen to the conversationsThe people are talking about twins. Please listen to the tape and number the pair of twins in the picture.(指导学生以听力的方法) Play the tape for the first time. And then check the answers with the whole class. Then, play it a second time, and ask the students to fill in the blanks.(出示三段对话的图片) Conversation 1A: Is that Sam playing the guitar?B: No, thats Tom. Sam has hair than Tom.C: Both Tom and Sam can play the drums, but Sam plays them_than Tom. Conversation 2A: Thats Tara, isnt it?B: No, it isnt. Its Tina. Tina is than Tara. And she also sings than Tara. Conversation 3A: Is that Paul?B: No, thats Peter. Peters than Paul. And Pauls than Peter.Finally,check the answers and translate the conversations with the Ss.Step5:Pair work(1c)First ,ask some pairs to read the conversations, then ask them to make their own conversations.Eg: A: Thats Tara, isnt it?B: No , it isnt. Its Tina. Tina is taller than Tara. And she also sings more loudly than Tara.设计意图:通过处理课本内容的方式对新授句型进行巩固,也是为了教育学生学会观察和发现,懂得尊重他人。Step6:Summary.This class were learnt how to talk about the differences between twins. After class do some more practice.Step7:practice.Fill in the blanks1.This little baby is (outgoing) than that one.2.She is (good) at English than I .3.My friend is much than her twin sister .(funny)4.My hair is shorter than .(she)5.Im a little (thin) than my sister.6.Mary is (popular) than Tom. 7.Lily runs (fast) than Lucy.设计意图:通过习题对本节课教学效果进行真实反馈,也使学生体验到成就感 体会到收获的喜悦。Step8:Homework。Please write four sentences about the things that are the same and different between you and your best friend.Eg. 1.Bothand 2.He/She isthan.设计意图:引导学生利用他们的观察力,将自身的感受用新学的语言描述出来。达到自由运用所学语言的目的,突破本课重点难点。Blackboard Design(板书设计)Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister.Section A (1a-1c)形容词和副词比较级的用法:1.同类事物 两者之间的比较2.比较级+than3.Eg.Fan Bingbing is taller than Jia Ling.The red box is bigger than the green box.The train runs faster than the car.
