Unit4 A Social SurneyMy Neighbourhood 任市中学 田先万课型名称:Reading 教学内容:高一英语必修（一）Unit4 A Social SurneyMy Neighbourhood 第2课时 Reading and speaking (A Lively City)教学目标:1、语言知识：掌握、理解、运用以下生词、词组和句形词汇：attractive pretty sound bother rent approach gorgeous traffic feel fortunate on the coast put up 句型：Its been six years since we last saw each other.This is the first time Ive visited your hometown.This is one of the most attractive places Ive been to.2、语言能力（1）通过课文的学习，进行阅读技巧和速度的训练。（2）通过阅读，培养学生获取信息、处理和加工信息的能力。（3）通过话题的讨论，学会用英语表达自己的看法。3、学习策略（1）通过多种多样的课堂活动，提高学生对英语表达的兴趣和信心。（2）通过小组活动，提高合作意识。4、情感态度通过课文的学习，了解祖国的大好河山。培养热爱祖国、热爱自己的家乡的美好情感。重点难点:1、掌握出现的描述某一地方的词语结构，学习介绍某个地方的要点和方法；2、能根据文章内容有条理的将夏门的地理位置、气候、城市概况等作简要说明；能写出若干句子对自己的居住地进行地理位置、气候、概况的简要描述。教材分析:1、这是using language 中的读说写三个部分。Reading 和 Vocabulary 都为写作服务。第一部分是Reading。它通过XiaoLi和John Martin之间的对话向读者介绍A Lively City-厦门。课前要布置学生收集有关厦门的资料，从而获取有关其背景材料。通过阅读部分让学生了解厦门的地理位置、气候以及鼓浪屿岛，并掌握一定的词汇，为后面的speaking 与writing 做铺垫。2、本课时选择任务型模式组织教学，每一部分都设定任务，引导学生自主或者合作完成。让学生主动参与教学活动，成为课堂教学的主体，提高交流合作的能力。通过任务型课堂教学，可培养学生自主学习能力，让课堂教学不再枯燥无味。学情分析:1、高一学生，智力发展日趋成熟，他们的认知能力比初中阶段有了进一步的发展，渐渐形成用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。因此要注重培养学生用英语思维和表达的能力，使学生把语言学习与生活实际紧密联系，培养语言学习的兴趣。2、学生完成了高中英语前3个模块的学习，具备一定的相互交流能力，他们会在原有课文内容的基础上发挥自己的想象，提出自己的见解，能把知识从课内拓展到课外，会通过多种渠道获取学习资源。3、学生的基础参差不齐，知识面宽窄不一。在布置任务时要兼顾各个层次的学生，针对教材提供相关背景资料。在说和写教学时，要以改变以往单干的学习模式为合作学习模式，这样有利于帮助同伴或向同伴学习，也有利于培养学生的想象力和创造力。采用小组合作学习形式，课堂上学生活动多了，要注意调控。教法分析:新课程标准体现“以学生为中心”“以人为本”的教学思想，在教学实践中，要坚持“以学生为主体，以任务为主线，以教师为主导，以能力培养为重点”的教学策略，结合教材与学生情况，主要采用情景教学法、交际教学法、任务型教学法等，以任务型教学活动为主。1、情景教学法：在导入时先与学生对话，以拉近与学生的距离。借助多媒体展示学生熟悉城市或地方的图片，吸引学生眼球，激发学生的兴趣。让学生了解课文主题A Lively City增加了课堂教学趣味性，活跃气氛，最大限度地调动学生学习的热情。2、交际教学法：通过师生、生生间的互动问答，来呈现课文的内容，增加师生交流，为学生创设轻松的语言环境，提高他们的听说能力。3任务型教学法：每一教学环节设定任务，让学生通过合作的方式，一起完成教学任务，从而提高教学效果。学法分析:在教学过程中，教师要“授学生以鱼，还要授学生以渔”，变“要我学”为“我要学”。让学生“学会”并不难，但让学生“会学”却很难。因此，在教学中注意培养学生学会记忆，学会阅读，学会运用所学知识表达，学会运用知识写作。教具准备:多媒体、黑板、录音机等教学步骤:Step1 Warming up1 Before class, ask the students to collect information on the net, or in the library about the city of Xiamen.2 Lead in1) Where do you live?2) Is Chengdu in the west of China?3) Do you know where the ForbiddenCity is?4) What part of China is the city of Xiamen in?And how do you find it?5) Whats the weather like in it,do you know?And the traffic?Today, lets learn a passage :A Lively CityStep 2 Reading1、SkimmingRead the text quickly and answer the following questions.1)How long have not John Martin and Xiaoli seen each other?2)Where does XiaoLi live? 3)Where do they plan to have lunch?2、Scanning1）Read the passage carefully and fill out the form with the characteristics about Xiamen the text introduced.The cityIt is one the most 1. places John has been to.And its one of the most interesting cities on the 2. .The peopleEveryone seems 3. .And XiaoLi feels very 4. living in the city.The climateThe climate is pretty 5. in the summer and quite cold in the winter.Places of interestThe business districtThe huge apartment block has just been 6. .
