T: Look at this little dog. Is it cute? Whos its master? Oh, yes. The boy is the master. The dog is the boys. Look, this house is very large. Whose house is this? Right. Its Kobes house. Therere a lot of shoes in this picture. Whose shoes are they? Yeah. The shoes are these womens. Whose bedroom is this? Its the brothers. 2. Underline the first word -boys with colorful chalk, and tell the students that: We add s to a singular noun to show that something belongs to someone or something. 3. Encourage the students to find out the rules by studying the sentences on the blackboard and book. We often use s with names. We add to a plural noun ending in s. We add s to plural nouns that do not end in s.Step 2 Practice 1. Finish Part A. T: The students have some presents for the exchange students. Can you help Amy answer Mr Wus questions? 2. Let students work in pairs and ask and answer the other things in the pictures. A: Whose is this/are they?B: Its/Theyre . Step 3 Activity T: Now, lets play a game. Its called Who is the cleverest detective. You are supposed to work in groups. Each group chooses a detective. The detective should leave the classroom firstly. Ateammate. The detective only has three chances to ask questions. The detective who asks the least questions is the final winner. Are you ready? Go! Step 4 Presentation 1. T: Wheres my pen? Theres one on the desk. Is it my pen? Let me have a look. Oh, no. its not my pen. Its not mine. Whose pen is this? Really? Its her/his pen. Its his/hers. 2. Present the other pronouns: our, ours, your, yours, their, theirs, its in the same way. 3. Explain: We use possessive adjectives and pronouns to show that something belongs to someone or something. 4. Work out the rules. - We dont need to put a noun after a possessive pronoun. Step 5 Practice 1. T: Look at the picture. The students have some new books from the bookshop, but their books are mixed up. Can you find the owner of each book? Complete their conversation. 2. Ask five students to read the conversation in roles. The other students check their answers. Step 6 Speaking 1. T: Therere lots of things all over your d
