Good morning everyone It s my great honor to be here to present my lesson and the chance is very precious for me And I ll try my best to do it Today I ll talk about Unit 2 My family Part A let s talk in Book 3 PEP primary English My content consists of 8 parts Analysis of the teaching material Analysis of the students Teaching methods Teaching aims Teaching aids Important and difficult points Teaching process and Blackboard design Well firstly I ll talk about part 1 analysis of the teaching material Background on the reformation of curriculum this book can connect the life and act emphasize the interest and experience of the students the pictures are active and vivid According to the problem of learning English the designer of this book design a lot of materials to improve the students ability of listening speaking reading and writing So I think the book is very suitable for the students Then I ll talk about the next part analysis of the students Grade three is the initial stage of English learning so it stresses on the emotion of the students creates a well beginning for the students Next I ll talk about teaching aims According to the contents and the fact of the students I establish the following three teaching aims of this period The first one students can listen read say and spell the following words father mother man woman dad mom The second one students can listen read say and write the following daily expressions who s that man woman He s She s The third one students can use the following sentences in daily life who s that man woman He s She s Let s move on to another part teaching methods The task based method communicated method group cooperate method and the game method will be used in this period Using different methods can make the class active Next is teaching aids I will use some pictures words and sentence cards and the multi media computer These can arouse the students interest in English and can help me to achieve the aims Then is the important and difficult points of teaching The content of this period is to use who s that man woman He s She s in place I think the most difficult point of this period is to make sure that the students can use the patterns who s that man woman He s She s in their daily life correctly Now I ll talk about the most important part teaching process It consists of 5 steps warming up presentation consolidation extension and homework Step 1 is warming up It contains two parts Free talk and an English song Boy and girl In order to attract the students attention and construct an atmosphere of learning English I let the students sing English song and free talk with me At the same time we can review the sentences that we learned last week Step 2 is presentation First learn the new words then Listen to the tape and students imitate to read and say The new English Curricular Standard calls for the students abilities in investigative and self independent learning grounded on the internet resources Students should be the main body and teachers act as a guider In class students play as a host and the teacher makes an influence on guiding helps students to understand the dialogue In this lesson I ask students to listen to the tape with questions read in different roles and in groups then try to recite the text Step 3 is consolidation In this part I design a game Let s guess Guess the people in a family photo Who s that man woman There are lots of ways to consolidate the new knowledge Playing game is a good way In this way we can achieve the aim of consolidating the learned knowledge Step 4 is extension Is this the end of the class I don t think so If there is an end I think it should be in the life So I extend this class encourage students try to use what they have learned in everyday life and try to communicate with their friends in new sentences In a word real knowledge comes from practice When students do what I say they can acquire information knowledge and have their ability and skills trained Step 5 is homework Talk to your friends with the new sentence and copy the new words and sentences five times after school Writing and using is the best way to remember The last part is blackboard design Board writing is the most universal versatile and basic piece of class It can provide and list the key teaching points during the whole class And in the design of this class firstly is the title and then is the key words finally the key sentences This is the blackboard design Unit 2 My family Father dad mother mom man woman Who s that man woman He s she s A teacher is not only a guide for the students but also a friend of them I w
