Let Ss take out their pictures, and then describe these cartoon boys and girlsLet Ss ask one by one in a group. Learn to describe themselves Then teacher asks one student : What do you look like?Im short . Im thin. I have long hair. I wear a white T-shirt. . Step 2: Grammar Focus:Let Ss read it together ,then read it in groups.Show the Chinese on TV, let Ss speak them in English. Step 3: Presentation: Look at some photos of stars; Just say one word to describe the stars:e.g. Is Yao Ming tall or short? Hes tall. Is Han Hong heavy or thin? She is heavy. Does Yao Ming have short hair or long hair? He has short hair. Does Fan Bingbing have long hair or short hair? She has long hair.Pay attention to “is” and “has”. 一般选择疑问句 句型:一般疑问句+or +被选择的情况? Let Ss read the words in the box, then write the words in the correct box, check the answers together.1. 3b. Circle the correct words to complete the conversationLet Ss do it first, then the teacher check the answers.Step 4: Writing1.Enjoy some cartoons played by famous people, and describe the famous people, the contents include : head, face, hair, nose, eyes, ear, mouth, body, etc. e.g. short/ long hair, straight/curly hair, blonde/brown/black hair, tall/ short/medium height, thin, fat/heavy, medium build, a small mouth/body, long/short legs, a big/thin/round face, two big eyes, big mouth, et2. 3c. Write answers to these questions about different people. Presentation (1) Show four pictures and talk about their appearances. T: Look at the baby. Can you describe how it looks like?
