The topic of this unit is about “Geography and Nature”. Through the learning, students are required to master how to use the comparative and superlative of adj. to talk about worlds tops. According to the communicative situation, students can ask questions to get information to improve their listening and speaking abilities and achieve the use of the target language. In the process of language learning, they can learn to care about the worlds environment through talking about the worlds tops. Analysis of learnersDuring the period of the students, they are confident in communicating and showing themselves. So they can involve in the activities. They have learnt the comparative and superlative of adj. before so it is easy for them to use the knowledge to talk about the geography.The topic is about some worlds tops. So students are interested in learning them.Teaching objectives1. Knowledge objectives: Students can master the new words and phrases: The earth, in Asia, the Yangtze River, the Yellow River, the Nile, in Africa, the Caspian Sea, Qomolangma, desert, the Sahara, square kilometersStudents can learn the following structures: Whats the highest mountain/the longest river/ the deepest salt lake/ the biggest desert in the world?
